Massad Issue 276 is out now and features a picture of the polish model K-Jey taken by me in Berlin during last German Fetish Ball. Even though we had talked a lot about shooting, this photoshoot was really quick and improvised. We managed to found time to work in the very last minute just before the party started, so I remember I walked around 30 min to the venue in the pouring rain, got there on time (as usual!), but of the hour I had to shoot with K-Jey I wasted 30 min trying to find her, then I had to wait 10 min for her to finish getting ready… So only 20 min left, but nothing was working the very first 5 min. I had to make a fast move because there was no time to lose and things were not working at all, therefore I changed my mind and decided to take her in front of this cool panel with lights.

I was not very sure if my idea would work but I am quite used to be under so much pressure, with no time and this time even with curious people around getting ready for the party. But as soon as I started to shoot, and thanks to the assistance of my dearest Ronald (thanks a lot again for all your help during the weekend!) kick ass images started to happen.

So in the end 15 min… around 50 pics… and some of them were really really nice. So nice we decided not to show anyone yet until we got something published, we found them interesting enough to deserve a chance. One of my fav images of the day is the one I’m showing you… I love it because it is some kind of combination between a proper pic and a making off pic, where u can see the location, the model posing and it is not the typical fashion shot. I took this one inspired by several photography books where the photographers show the settings, the studio, etc… This way you, all of you who haven’t been to that location, you can discover the “glamour” behind the scenes.

Ya está a la venta el número 276 de Massad que tiene en portada una foto de la modelo polaca K-Jey hecha por mí durante la última German Fetish Ball. Aunque habíamos hablado un montón acerca de trabajar juntos, esta sesión fue muy rápida e improvisada. Al final conseguimos encontrar tiempo en el ultimísimo minuto justo antes de que empezase la fiesta, así que recuerdo como tuve que caminar 30 minutos bajo la lluvia hasta la localización, lluegué a tiempo (como siempre!), pero de la hora que tenía para hacer las fotos con K-Jey, 30 minutos se desperdiciaron tratando de encontrarla, después aun tuve que esperarla otros 10 a que terminase de prepararse y aun encima los primeros 5 minutos de la sesión no estaba saliendo nada… Tuve que cambiar la idea y decidí llevármela a delante de ese panel luminoso tan guay.

No estaba yo muy seguro de que la idea fuse a funcionar, pero estoy muy acostumbrado a trabajar bajo presión, sin tiempo y esta vez hasta con gente curiosa que se estaba preparando ya para la fiesta. Pero tan pronto como empecé a disparar, y gracias a la ayuda de mi querido asistente Ronald (muchas gracias de nuevo por tu impagable ayuda durante el fin de semana!) empezaron a salir imágenes de puta madre.

Así que al final 15 min… alrededor de 50 tomas… y algunas de ellas realmente realmente buenas. Tan buenas que decidimos no mostrar ninguna hasta que no consiguiésemos publicar algo, las encontramos lo suficientemente interesantes como para merecer una oportunidad. Si os gusta la portada, podéis comprar también el calendario de K-Jey para el 2017 que trae una foto diferente de esta misma sesión.

Una de mis imágenes favoritas es la que os muestro aquí… Me encanta porque es una combinación entre una foto en sí y una de making off, donde podéis ver la localización, a la modelo posando y no es la típica foto de moda. Hice esta inspirado en varios libros de fotografía donde los fotógrafos muestran como tienen todo colocado, el estudio, etc… De este modo, todos aquellos que no habéis estado en esa localización podáis descubrir el “glamour” tras las escenas.

Y para terminar, gracias a Bert de Massad por la portada, a K-Jey por trabajar conmigo y a Ronald por su ayuda impagable. NO os olvidéis de haceros con vuestro ejemplar de la revista!.
