«People should never mess with rednecks. And even less if they are holding shotguns…»
Shelly and I decided to drive from L.A. to Palm Springs looking for some Joshua treea and at a certain point during the drive we spotted some nice wild location. We drove off the highway trying to reach that cool place, but the only thing we managed to find was a narrow road with a very invitingly sign who read «PRIVATE PROPERTY – NO TRESPASSING«. So what did we do??? OF COURSE… we drove on, LOL! Narrow road, no chance of turning around, and things started not to «smell» good, especially when we saw a big house / camp up in the hill with many pick up trucks, cars and rednecks holding SHOTGUNS. So what did we do??? YES!!!! We got the FUCK OUT OF THERE!!!
Being honest, we got scared as fuck, especially with the idea of those American rednecks shooting a horned tattooed girl, dressed in black and looking like an incubus. So I don’t know how the fuck I did, but I managed to turn around and we escaped safe and sound.
But, come on, that road was fucking awesome, and what the fuck: we are fucking Álex Pérez and fucking Shelly D’Inferno, (yes, that makes us IMMORTAL, LOL!) so we stopped the car, filmed some videos and shoot some KILLER pics.
I could never be more satisfied about this image in particilar… when I started to edit it I thought: FUCK YEAH!!!! It’s EPIC… I think everything works perfectly: the location, the framing, Noir Mela‘s epic outfit matching Greenegoth‘s WICKED horns, Shelly‘s fantastic pose, even the lens flare… I really LOOOOOOOVE this one. We have an awesome set shot there, so stay tuned.
Ahhhh… and by the way: we never made it to Palm Springs… but that’s a story for another day.
PS: AND REMEMBER, NEVER EVER MESS WITH REDNECKS HOLDING SHOTGUNS!!!!!

SHELLY D’INFERNO (For Noir Mela & Greenegoth ) – Pic by Álex Pérez (2016)

Ages. It’s been AGES since my last post, I know… so I am going to write a few lines about my absence. I have had serious issues with my health which prevented me from doing anything since the first week of February. I am not fully recovered yet, still working on it, but at least the extreme pain has gone (it was high time…) and seem to be in the right way to be back on track
This sickness which is not very clear to the doctors yet (since the results of every test were always good) has forced me to stop every activity, including of course photography. I cancelled some shoots, and stopped thinking of arranging more appointments. And not only taking pictures, which was completely impossible, but also editing… So the months of February and March have been quite terrible and not very productive in all senses.
I’ve caught up with editing two weeks ago and I have been working on the same projects I mentioned in my last post… some KICK ASS pictures of my sweetest and patient Cecina Niehoff (pic will rock sweetie… you know the issues we are having with them) and of course focusing the rest of my time on my partner in crime Shelly D’Inferno. It is amazing how many great pics do we have… I am more than proud of everyone of them, I think we really had masterpieces and I never know which one to post here… I am going to show you a couple today and write a few things about them.
First one, was taken at El Dorado dry lake bed, in Nevada… it was Shelly‘s dream to shoot in such a location, so we took advantage of such am amazing place to shot several sets. This pic belongs to one of them we called the «Bitchy Spice Girl» LOL. Yeeeees… it also has some kind of Lady Gaga‘s reminiscent touch too, but the idea was to pay a tribute to the Spice Girls…. «Say You’ll Be There» is the perfect track for this image. Isn’t it amazing??? Outfit was courtesy courtesy of Attitude Clothing Co.
Second one was also shot in one of the most amazing locations ever… the Grand Canyon, in Arizona. It was a 10 hours drive (5 to go… 5 to return) and I love this picture because it catches perfectly the magic of the sunset there. In fact, this set was shot in 5 minutes… it was the time we had before it got pitch black. Fortunately I was fast and smart enough to capture the last rays of beautiful light. And I really LOVE Shelly‘s attitude and pose wearing the nice Long Clothing outfit. Here we are, taking the brands working with us to the mostamazing places… I don’t think anybody can complain, eh 🙂
I also give you some words about the processing of the pics. But as usual pics barely have any edition… only color corrections to guarantee I can show you exactly what our eyes saw when capturing those moments.
More pics / updates soon. Thanks for your patience.

SHELLY D’INFERNO (For Long Clothing) – Pic by Álex Pérez (2016)
Siglos.
