«People should never mess with rednecks. And even less if they are holding shotguns…»
Shelly and I decided to drive from L.A. to Palm Springs looking for some Joshua treea and at a certain point during the drive we spotted some nice wild location. We drove off the highway trying to reach that cool place, but the only thing we managed to find was a narrow road with a very invitingly sign who read «PRIVATE PROPERTY – NO TRESPASSING«. So what did we do??? OF COURSE… we drove on, LOL! Narrow road, no chance of turning around, and things started not to «smell» good, especially when we saw a big house / camp up in the hill with many pick up trucks, cars and rednecks holding SHOTGUNS. So what did we do??? YES!!!! We got the FUCK OUT OF THERE!!!
Being honest, we got scared as fuck, especially with the idea of those American rednecks shooting a horned tattooed girl, dressed in black and looking like an incubus. So I don’t know how the fuck I did, but I managed to turn around and we escaped safe and sound.
But, come on, that road was fucking awesome, and what the fuck: we are fucking Álex Pérez and fucking Shelly D’Inferno, (yes, that makes us IMMORTAL, LOL!) so we stopped the car, filmed some videos and shoot some KILLER pics.
I could never be more satisfied about this image in particilar… when I started to edit it I thought: FUCK YEAH!!!! It’s EPIC… I think everything works perfectly: the location, the framing, Noir Mela‘s epic outfit matching Greenegoth‘s WICKED horns, Shelly‘s fantastic pose, even the lens flare… I really LOOOOOOOVE this one. We have an awesome set shot there, so stay tuned.
Ahhhh… and by the way: we never made it to Palm Springs… but that’s a story for another day.
PS: AND REMEMBER, NEVER EVER MESS WITH REDNECKS HOLDING SHOTGUNS!!!!!

Shelly y yo decidimos conducir de L.A. a Palm Springs en busca de Joshua Trees y en un deerminado punto del viaje encontramos una localización molona y salvaje. Salimos de la autopista intentado llegar a aquel lugar, pero lo único que conseguimos fue encontrar una carretera estrecha y una señal muy incitadora que ponía «PROPIEDAD PRIVADA – NO TRASPASAR«. Así que qué hicimos??? POR SUPUESTO… seguimos conduciendo, ja, ja, ja! Carretera estrecha, sin posibilidad de dar la vuelta y pronto el invento empezó a no «oler» bien, especialmente cuando vimos una casa / campamento enorme en lo alto de una colina, con un montón de furgonetas, coches y palurdos armados con ESCOPETAS. Así que qué hicimos??? SÍ!!!! Nos largamos CAGANDO LECHES!!!!.
Siendo sincero, nos acojonamos de verdad, sobre todo con la idea de esos típicos palurdos americanos disparando a una tía tatuada y con cuernos, vestida de negro y pareciendo un íncubo. No sé como cojones hice, pero conseguí dar la vuelta y escapamos vivitos y coleando.
Pero, bueno, es que esa carretera molaba tanto, y joder: que somos los putos Álex Pérez y Shelly D’Inferno, (sí, eso nos hace INMORTALES, ja, ja, ja!) así que detuvimos el coche, grabamos unos cuantos videos e hicimos unas fotos FANTÁSTICAS.
No podría estar más satisfecho de esta imagen en particular… cuando empecé a editarla pensé: SÍ!!!!. Es ÉPICA… Creo que todo funciona a la perfección: la localización, el encuadre, en magnífico conjunto de Noir Mela a juego con los cuernos BRUTALES de Greenegoth, la pose fantástica de Shelly, hasta los destellos de la lente… Me ENCAAAAAAAAAAAAANTA de verdad. Tenemos un set buenísimo ahí, así que permaneced en antena.
Ahhhh… y por cierto: nunca conseguimos llegar a Palm Springs… pero eso es otra historia para otro día.
PD: Y RECORDAD, NUNCA ENFADÉIS A PALURDOS CON ESCOPETAS!!!!!
