The story behind today´s one is the typical story of a picture you are not looking for, a pic that hasn´t been prepared, but that happens somehow for a little while and it finally ends becoming, probably, the very best one of the shooting.

It was taken in Gijón, during the break of a bondage session I was shooting for my good friend Señor Interior. Between tying and tying Shinji took some time to rest and to stretch… and it just happened that in one of them, she grabbed her ‘I Claudio’ book, and started to read exactly as you see in the picture.

Automatically, I noticed the beauty of the scene, it would probably be the best pic of the afternoon, so I shot 3 or 4 times without Shinji realizing in order to preserve the magic of the moment.

The processing quite corresponds with my vision of the place we were, a warehouse full of junk, dark, disorder everywhere… I ‘saw’ from the beginning a black and white picture, really dirty, with a lot of noise… so I tried all that stuff to be included in the final version shown in DEADLYWOOD.

La historia de esta imagen es la típica historia de la foto que no se busca, que no está preparada, pero que surge en un instante y acaba convirtiéndose en, probablemente, la mejor de toda la sesión.

Fue tomada en Gijón, durante el descanso de una sesión de bondage que estaba fotografiando para mi buen amigo el Señor Interior. Entre atadura y atadura, Shinji se tomaba unos minutos para descansar y estirarse… y coincidió que en uno de ellos, agarró su libro de “Yo Claudio” y se puso a leerlo tal y como veis en la foto.

Automáticamente me di cuenta de lo bella de la escena, que podría ser de lo mejor que sacase esa tarde e hice 3 ó 4 tomas sin que Shinji se enterase para no perder la espontaneidad del momento.

El nivel de procesado se corresponde con mi visión de la foto en el lugar donde estábamos, un almacén lleno de trastos, oscuro, mucho desorden… desde un principio “vi” la foto en blanco y negro, muy sucia y con mucho ruido… y todo eso traté de que quedase plasmado en la versión final incluida en DEADLYWOOD.

Un besazo enorme y muchas gracias a Shinji por habernos regalado ese momento.
