Deadlywood #3 (Redux) – Niko & Marisel

Marisel, a Santo Domingo beauty in Athens… the combination couldn´t have been more explosive. Not only she is a really GORGEOUS model, but also as an human being. What surprised me the most about her was how serious she took the photo shoot from the very first moment I proposed her. Her involvement, the many ideas she had, her illusion… always looking for reference pictures, doing the best in order not to get «just another pics». The results spoke by themselves, I would say the pic I am talking about today is one of my best 3 or 5 pics ever… Certainly, I am very fond of it.

The shooting took place, nothing less than in the Battle Ship «G.Averoff» (http://www.bsaverof.com) the flagship of Greek Navy during the Balkan Wars (1912-1913) and actually transformed in a monument at Marina Flisvos, Athens. I was really surprised about how easy it was to manage to shoot there in a National Monument of such importance for the Greek people, when for example you are invited (and not in the most plite way) to go away from places of infinite less trascendence. You´ll read stories about it when I talk about other pics…

At first, I had thought only of working with Marisel, but she told me that her boyfriend would join us later as soon as he finished at work and that I would probably love him because his look was really pecuiliar, he was super tattooed… so I immediately said YES. And that´s how it was, when Niko arrived I was really amazed: a real punk guy with his mohawk haircut, lots of piercings, tattooes and a really polite and easy going guy with such a tough guy appearance.

The shooting continued with both of them and suddenly realized I had to take advantage of the huge power which Marisel holds in his look. It was absolutely clear on my mindu that I needed one of those looks looked daggers at me over Niko´s shoulder… and so it happened. I took only 2 pictures, the first one, which you can see, and other similar but with Niko´s tattoo focused and Marisel out of focus in the background. Obviously the «good» one was the first one.

The only drawback was that I had other of my girls waiting there to be shot, which forced me to finish with Marisel much earlier than I would have liked…. but well, we´ve got more evil plans in my mind for my next time in Athens.

And not many more curiosities about this one… maybe the fear, panic and ´this guy is fucking nuts, he´s gonna break his head´ faces of everybody there when they saw me climbing the different parts of the ship like a little monkey. Ahhh and also my beloved sister Caterina´s face when she discovered that Niko, who had been her boyfriend, was coming… lol! Crazy love affairs in Athens! With the many people there are in that town, and Álex gathers the ‘loved ones’ …

To put an end to today´s post, and talking about the processing of the pic… well… I must say it barely has any processing. Only a black and white conversion, Álex´s style, which stood Niko´s tattooes out, but being careful that should not play down the most important thing of the picture: Marisel´s look.

Niko… you fucking rock man… I adore u!!!

Marisel, una belleza de Santo Domingo en Atenas… la combinación no podría ser más explosiva. No solo es una auténtica PRECIOSIDAD como modelo, sino como persona. Lo que más me sorprendió de ella fue lo serio en que se tomó la sesión desde el primer momento que se lo propuse, su implicación, sus ideas, su ilusión… siempre buscando muchas fotos de referencia, haciendo todo lo posible para que no fuesen tan solo «unas fotos más». Y así fue, yo diría muy orgulloso que la foto sobre la que hoy os hablo, es una de mis 3 ó 5 mejores fotos, desde luego le tengo muchiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisimo cariño.

La sesión tuvo lugar nada más ni nada menos que en el Buque «G.Averoff» (http://www.bsaverof.com) en buque emblema de la armada Griega durante la Guerra de los Balcanes (1912-1913) y convertido en todo un monumento en Marina Flisvos, Atenas. Me sorprendió muchísimo la facilidad que tuvimos para trabajar y realizar una de mis sesiones en un Monumento Nacional de semejante importancia para el pueblo griego, cuando muchas veces en España te invitan a irte (y no de forma muy amable) de sitios con muchísima menos trascendencia. Ya os contaré cuando lleguemos a otras fotos…

En un principio había pensado en trabajar solo con Marisel, pero me comentó que a lo largo de la tarde su novio saldría de trabajar y que era probable que me gustase, porque tenía un look muy peculiar, estaba super tatuado… a lo cual yo le dije inmediatamente que SÍ. Y así fue, cuando Niko se presentó me quedé totalmente alucinado con el: un punk con su mega cresta, lleno de piercings, tatuajes y una persona super correcta y amigable bajo ese aspecto de chico duro.

Continué la sesión con los dos y de repente se me pasó por la cabeza que tenía que aprovechar para una foto toda la fuerza descomunal que guarda Marisel en su mirada. Tuve muy claro que quería que una de sus miradas me fulminase por encima del hombro de Niko… y así fue. Hice solo dos tomas, la primera, que es la que podéis ver, y otra parecida, pero con en tatuaje de Niko enfocado y Marisel en un segundo plano desenfocada. Obviamente la foto «buena» fue la primera.

La única pena fue que tenía a otra de mis niñas esperando para otra sesión, lo cual me obligó a que la sesión con Marisel no durase todo el tiempo que me hubiese gustado… pero bueno, tenemos más planes de la maldad en mente para la próxima vez que vuelva a Atenas.

A nivel anecdótico, pues poco más… tal vez las caras de asombro, miedo y de «este tío está colgado y se va a romper la crisma…» de los allí presentes cuando me veían trepar cual monito por distintas partes del buque. Ahhh y las caras de mi queridísima hermanita Caterina cuando supo que iba a aparecer Niko, quien había sido su ex… ja ja ja!!! Lios amorosos en Atenas!!! Con la de gente que hay en esa ciudad y va Álex a juntar a los que «se quieren»…

Para cerrar el post de hoy, a nivel de retoque, pues… apenas lo hay. Solo un blanco y negro, a lo Álex, que le diese mucha fuerza y resaltase los tatuajes de Niko, pero sin restar importancia a lo más importante de la foto: la mirada de Marisel.

Aquí os queda la foto, en DEADLYWOOD no hay secretos…

Silvia… my blonde, my photographic couple!!

There was a time when it would have been impossible to think about Álex´s pics without Silvia, or Silvia´s without Álex… From the very first time we met, there had always been a magic and a special confidence between us which, apart from a big friendship, made every pic I took something really amazing.

We had worked many times together, so it was not very easy to choose which pics  should I include in DEADLYWOOD. Well, to be honest, to choose the second one because the one I am commenting today had always been very clear for me.

This one belongs to our first photoshoot together, which took place in an abandoned college called “Los Hexágonos”, a place that at that time hadn´t fortunately been used by many photographers, and where I had already worked before in a completely different photographic project.

I had perfectly clear the idea for this picture as soon as we found those stairs. I asked Silvia to sit down and to stare at me, I took several shots and I finally asked her to close her eyes… Curiously, and regardless of the beauty and sweetness of her look, the one I liked the most was the one with the eyes closed.

The afternoon we spend there together was highly productive, we got much stuff (and the good kind – something that was not very difficult with Silvia) and also was useful for Silvia to discover how exciting the photo shoots were with me. The panic in her face when she saw me walking by the windows of a second floor, or my face when the wind decided to throw most of my equipment from a fourth storey said it all. The umbrella and the stand died in the act, though my loved friend Mr.speedlite suffered only from some stratches here and there, that are still visible nowadays. I´ve had stolen exactly the same model of speedlite only a few weeks before during Madrid´s Zombie Walk, so my pale /ble / violet face expressed perfectly that I couldn´t afford to lose another one.

And as usual, I show you the original pic. A black and white which makes the pic much stronger and a couple of minor details which were photoshopped. Not too much… why if the little blonde was PERFECT?

Silvia… mi rubita, mi pareja fotográfica!!

Hubo un tiempo en el que pensar en fotos de Álex sin Silvia, o de Silvia sin Álex hubiese sido imposible…. Desde el momento que nos conocimos, había existido una magia y una confianza especial entre nosotros que, además de una gran amistad, hacía que foto que le tomaba, fuese una auténtica preciosidad.

Habíamos trabajado muchas veces juntos, por lo cual no resultó nada fácil saber que fotos debería incluir en DEADLYWOOD. Bueno, más bien cuál sería la segunda, porque la que hoy comento siempre la había tenido muy clara.

Esta foto pertenece a nuestra primera sesión juntos, que tuvo lugar en el colegio abandonado de “Los Hexágonos”, un lugar que afortunadamente por aquel entonces  no había sido todavía pasto de fotógrafos, y en el que ya había trabajado anteriormente, aunque en otro proyecto fotográfico completamente distinto.

La idea la tuve muy clara desde el momento que localizamos esa escalera. Le pedí a Silvia que se sentase y mirase para mí, hice varias tomas y luego le pedí que cerrase los ojos… Curiosamente y a pesar de la belleza y dulzura de su mirada, la que más me gustó fue la de los ojos cerrados.

La tarde que allí pasamos juntos fue muy productiva, conseguimos muchísimo material (y muy bueno – algo que realmente no era nada difícil con Silvia) y sirvió también para que ella descubriese como eran las sesiones conmigo. Entre la cara de susto que ponía al verme caminar por las ventanas de un segundo piso, o mi cara cuando el viento tiró parte del equipo al vacío desde un cuarto piso… El paraguas y el trípode fallecieron en el acto, aunque mi queridísimo (y carísimo) amigo señor flash solo sufrió unos rasguños (que aun luce hoy en día). Me habían robado otro flash exactamente igual hacía unos meses en la marcha zombie de Madrid, y mi cara blanca / azul / violeta expresó de forma perfecta que no me podía permitir quedarme sin otro…

Y como es habitual os muestro la foto original. Un blanco y negro que le confiere mucha más fuerza y un par de detallitos menores que photoshopeé. Poca cosa… para qué más si la rubita era PERFECTA?!

Deadlywood #1 (Redux) – Sofía Hernández.

I had met Sofía Hernández for more or less three years, (or Sophie Paranoid, as her artistic name said…) thanks to some pics of my friend Jotace Unaimagen. First time I met her in person was queueing at the door of a local near the Santo Domingo Square in Madrid. My first impression was like «BRUTAL… Sofía is BRUTAAAAAAAAAAAL… we’ll do something together someday…»

And that’s the way it was. A few months later, and after having talked to her about a photo session, we made an appointment at 10 am in a cold October morning from last year. Sofía came straight from work, she had barely slept for a couple of hours, but even in a situation like that, she brought all that presence, attitude and attractive which characterizes her.

She had to «suffer» a studio session which took from 10 in the morning to 8 in the evening… snakes, chains, deadly outfits, fetishism… and a brief series of pictures in a very cute well in Tenerife Street.

The pic, as you may notice right after, it’s a very simple one, but that I think it catches all the power, attractive and beauty which Sofia treasures… a girl with a very rough look who is a true love. One of my fav models forever. She does not need any colour to shine.

Regarding to the way in which I processed the picture, I did almost nothing. I just turned it into black and white and not much more. Girls who are really gorgeous do not need any tricks.

Sofía Hernandez

Conocía a Sofía Hernández desde hacía unos 3 años, (o Sophie Paranoid, como se hacía llamar…) de unas fotos que le había visto a mi amigo Jotace Unaimagen. La primera vez que me la encontré en persona fue haciendo cola en la puerta de un garito cerca de la plaza de Santo Domingo. Mi primera impresión fue «BRUTAL… Sofía es BRUTAAAAAAAAAAAL… algún día haremos algo juntos…»

Y así fue. Unos meses más tarde y después de haberle planteado una sesión, quedamos a las 10 de la mañana de un frío domingo de Octubre del año pasado. Sofía venía directa del trabajo, creo que apenas había dormido un par de horas, pero aun así, traía consigo toda esa presencia, actitud y atractivo que la caracterizan.

Tuvo que «sufrir» una sesión de estudio que duró desde las 10 de la mañana hasta las 8 de la tarde… serpientes, cadenas, estilismos mortales, fetichismo… y una pequeña serie de fotos en un patio de luces muy fotogénico de la calle Tenerife.

La foto, como podréis ver a continuación es una foto sencilla, pero que creo que recoge toda la fuerza, atractivo y belleza que atesora Sofía… una niña de aspecto muy duro que es un auténtico amor. Una de mis modelos favoritas. No necesita color para brillar.

A nivel de procesado apenas tuve que hacer nada. Pasarla a blanco y negro y muy poquito más. Las chicas guapas de verdad no necesitan trucos.

One year ago exactly, right now, I was in Coruña with my best friend María Folgueira celebrating the big success of the inauguration of DEADLYWOOD, my first exhibition.

It´s been already a year, I live in the Netherlands now and many things have changed… so I think it´s a good time to look back and to meditate about my “little monster”.

December 1st 2011, I had the chance of showing my little big project named DEADLYWOOD. A collection of 23 pictures which were visited by more than 500.000 people in just a month. A real success, even though the biggest success for me was to share such a special day with my family, friends and all those loved people who wanted to be by my side in such an important day, helping me to make a dream I thought it was only reserved for artists come true.

One year later I am totally proud of my “creature”, everytime I see the pics I am fascinated by their beauty and even knowing my high level of  requirements, I sincerely believe I did a very good job.

But even though DEADLYWOOD is a place where everything  is beautiful, not everything is perfect… so I must admit I made some mistakes in the selection of some people who appeared in the pics. Time, success and circumstances have shown me that some of the girls I thought they should be a part of my Project didn´t deserve to be a part of it. The beauty of some people was only for the picture… Sad but True.

To finish this entry, I would like to thank once again everybody who were with me that day and to all of those who spent a little bit of their time to visit DEADLYWOOD. Your support is priceless.

And to celebrate this  first anniversary, I will publish again, already translated to English now, the stories behind every picture and who knows if any other surprise.

Thanks a lot and please, don´t forget that DEADLYWOOD continues…

Hace exactamente un año, en este preciso momento, me encontraba en Coruña con mi mejor amiga María Folgueira celebrando el gran éxito de la inauguración de DEADLYWOOD, mi primera exposición.

Ya ha pasado un año, ahora vivo en Holanda y muchas cosas han cambiado… así que creo que es un buen momento para mirar atrás y reflexionar un poco acerca de mi “pequeño monstruo”.

El 1 de Diciembre del 2011, tuve la ocasión de mostrar mi pequeño gran proyecto DEADLYWOOD. Una colección de 23 fotografías que durante un mes fueron visitadas por mas de 500.000 personas. Un auténtico éxito, aunque para mí el éxito más grande fue poder compartir un día tan especial con mi familia, amigos y toda esa gente querida que quiso estar a mi lado en un día tan importante y que me ayudaron a hacer realidad un sueño que siempre había pensado que estaba reservado solo para los artistas.

Un año después sigo totalmente orgulloso de mi “criatura”, cada vez que veo las fotos quedo deslumbrado por su belleza y aun conociendo mi elevadísimo nivel de exigencia, creo sinceramente que hice un buen trabajo.

Pero aunque DEADLYWOOD es un lugar donde todo es bonito, no todo es perfecto… así que he de reconocer que me equivoqué con la elección de algunas de las personas que aparecen en las fotos. El tiempo, el éxito, y las circunstancias me han demostrado que algunas de las personas que yo creía que tenían que formar parte de mi proyecto, no se merecían estar ahí…  la belleza de determinadas personas se queda únicamente en la fotografía. Triste pero Cierto.

Para terminar esta entrada, me gustaría agradecer una vez más a todas las personas que estuvieron a mi lado ese día y a todas las que dedicaron una pequeña parte de su tiempo a visitar DEADLYWOOD. Vuestro apoyo es impagable.

Y para celebrar este primer aniversario, voy a publicar de nuevo, ya con su traducción al inglés incluida, la historias que hay detrás de cada una de las fotos y quien sabe si alguna sorpresa más.

Amsterdam, November 18, 11:00 am. A taaaaaaaall cute blonde girl named Ellen Lovebite…

As promised yesterday, it’s time to show you some brand new pics coming from my first shoot in the Netherlands. To be honest, Ellen and I hadn’t prepared too much our meeting, it was some kind of test for future projects, but with such a girl like her pics just happen very easily.

We shot for almost and hour in a very cold morning, we had a nice time together, we broke some stuff (as usual in me… hell yeah!!!!) and we set the foundations for future shots which will rock even more.

Pics barely needed any processing. Most of the photoshop process was focused to enhance the metallic blue tone I would like to give them, but once again, I fell in love with the black & white versions. So here you are a couple of samples, more to come soon… hope you like them!

Amsterdam, 18 de Noviembre, 11:00 am. Una rubia aaaaaaalta y encantadora llamada Ellen Lovebite….

Como os prometí ayer, es el momento de mostraros fotos nuevas recién salidas de mi primera sesión en Holanda. Para ser honesto, Ellen y yo no habíamos preparado demasiado nuestro encuentro, fue una especie de prueba con vista a futuros proyectos, pero con una chica como ella las fotos salen muy fácilmente.

Hicimos fotos durante casi una hora, en una mañana muy fría,  lo pasamos bien, rompimos algunas cosas (como es habitual en mí… hell yeah!!!!) y establecimos las bases para futuras sesiones que molarán mucho más.

Las fotos apenas necesitaron procesado alguno. La mayor parte del trabajo de photoshop se centró en potenciar el tono azul metálico de las fotos, pero una vez más, me enamoré de las versiones en blanco y negro. Aquí tenéis un par de ejemplos, pronto más… espero que os gusten!

Once again, it’s been some time since my last post, so I am back  with some news…

December is about to start and the guy who doesn’t like to be on  magazines will be  featured in two of them, ironic, isn’t it? First one is «BEDESEME»  #1 Spanish fetish / alternative magazine, where you will be able to find a nice article with an interesting interview (I hope…) and some of my pics (never seen ones too !!!) . The other is «GOTHIC GIRL ART MAGAZINE« , an American publication where you will also find another interview and pics… I will publish the links here as soon as they are released.

More news… My first shot in the Netherlands has already happened! The chosen model was the beautiful, funny, lovely and tall Ellen Lovebite. The shoot took place in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago and you will be able to see the results almost NOW. If nothing strange happens, you should see some pics tomorrow, ok?

Besides of  preparing the stuff for the magazines  ‘re-mastering’ some pics, I’ve also been working in some shots which I have kept in my vault… for instance the ones of my precious, lovely, loved, adored and amazing sister Sarah Mitziva. I really love that girl, we really appreciate each other, so I hope she is happy with the stuff when she see it. At the same time, I’m also working on the pics for the Greek metal band DISOLVO ANIMUS new album, which have my cute Diva Satanica featured…

Website is almost finished… I will start adding some stuff asap… and just in two days, DEADLYWOOD‘s 1st anniversary will take place. I am also preparing something for that day… Also, my first shoot for is going to happen, and contacs with the lovely and gorgeous fetish diva  Bibiana Atada (who is Spanish!!!!) has been established for common projects.

Sarah Mitziva – Álex Pérez (2012)

Una vez más, ha pasado algún tiempo desde mi última entrada, así que aquí estoy de nuevo con algunas noticias.

Diciembre está a punto de empezar y el tío al que no le gusta aparecer en revistas va a aparecer en dos, irónico, no? La primera de ellas is «BEDESEME», la revista número 1 fetish / alternativa de España, donde podréis encontrar un amplio reportaje con una entrevista interesante (espero…) y algunas de mis fotos (algunas nunca vistas!!!). La otra es «GOTHIC GIRL ART MAGAZINE» una publicación americana donde también podréis encontrar otra entrevista y fotos. Ya publicaré los enlaces cuando salgan.

Más noticias… ya he hecho mi primera sesión en Holanda! La elegida fue la bonita, divertida, encantadora y alta Ellen Lovebite. La sesión tuvo lugar en Amsterdam  hace un par de semanas y podréis ver los resultados casi YA. Si no sucede nada extraño, deberíais ver cositas mañana, vale?.

Además de preparar el material para las revistas ‘remasterizando’ algunas fotos, también he estado trabajando en algunas de las que están en mi caja fuerte… por ejemplo las de mi preciosa, encantadora, amada, y adorada hermanita Sarah Mitziva. Esa niña me encanta de verdad, nos tenemos mucho cariño, así que espero que esté satisfecha con el material cuando lo vea. Al mismo tiempo, he estado trabajando en las fotos del próximo álbum de la banda de metal griego DISOLVO ANIMUS en las que sale mi lindísima Diva Satanica.

La web está prácticamente terminada, solo me falta empezar a subir material y en solo dos días será el primer aniversario de DEADLYWOOD. También estoy preparando algo para celebrarlo… Además, mi primera sesión para THE BEST SOLUTION MODEL MANAGEMENT está a punto de suceder y se han establecido los primeros contactos para trabajar con la encantadora y alucinante diva del fetish (que además es española!!!)  Bibiana Atada.

Esto es todo por ahora. Permaneced atentos…

Hi people! It’s been a few days since I don’t feed you, so it was high time I returned to DEADLYWOOD.

What has happened lately? Well, I’ve been doing too many things which kept me real busy.  Mostly, I’ve been preparing some stuff for a couple of magazines which I will be featured in next month, looking for more some cute models, working in some old pics, spamming «The Best Solution» and «Tattoo Trash» everywhere, and more…

Also, I’ve decided to complete (once for all!!!!) my web site (http://www.alexperezfotografia.com), which had been stopped for the last year (lazy boy!!!). So it should finally be online very soon.

And as I would like to show you something that no one has seen before,  here is a pic I took to my cutest, loved, adored and super close friend Diva Satanica while we were shooting for the artwork of the Greek black metal band «Disolvo Animus« cd.

Probably some of you already know Diva Satanica. Not only she is one of the most famous and international alternative models in Spain, but also a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery clooooooose friend I definitely love, one of the 5 best people that photography has ever given me. She had already been, of course, featured in DEADLYWOOD (go and find her!!!) so it’s always nice to work with someone who is soooooo special again and to show the world how CUTE she is.

So ladies and gentlemen… enjoy the majestic Diva Satanica! And her new look  🙂

Hola gente! Ya hace unos días que no os alimento, así que ya era hora de volver a DEADLYWOOD.

Qué ha pasado últimamente? Bien, he estado haciendo un montón de cositas que me han mantenido bastante ocupado. Principalmente, preparando material para un par de revistas en las que saldré el próximo mes, buscando modelos guapas, trabajando en fotos viejas, spammeando «The Best Solution» y «Tattoo Trash» por todas partes, y más…

También me he decidido a terminar (de una vez por todas!) mi página web (www.alexperezfotografia.com), la cual ha estado parada el último año (tío vago!!). Así que debería estar online finalmente muy pronto.

Y como quería enseñaros algo que no había visto nadie, aquí tenéis una foto que le saqué a mi preciosísima, queridísima, adoradísima y amiguísima Diva Satanica mientras estábamos trabajando en las fotos del cd de la banda de black metal griega «Disolvo Animus«.

Probablemente muchos de vosotros ya conozcáis a Diva Satanica. No solo es una de las modelos alternativas más importantes e internacionales de España , sino que una amiga muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuy cercana, unas de las mejores 5 personas que la fotografía me ha dado. Ya había formado parte, por supuesto, de DEADLYWOOD (a buscarla!!!), así que es siempre genial volver a trabajar con alguien que es  taaaaaan especial y mostrarle al mundo lo bonita que es.

Así que damas y caballeros, disfruten de la majestuosa Diva Satanica! Y de su nuevo look…

Today is a very special day for me. It’s been exactly two years since I had the chance of working for the very first time with the girl who would later become my photographic trademark: Silvia.

It’s not easy to talk in an objective way about a person whom I’m so very infinite fond of and  I’ve shared so many unforgettable moments with further than photography. We are like cat & dog sometimes, but we can’t be the one without the other, can we? We are maaaaaany kilometers away now, but our hearts keep on beating together.

Silvia, besides from looking stunning in every pic, is one of those people who make you think it’s been worth to take a camera just for the mere fact of having known her. So was the connection between us, that, without having met before,  she gave me one of my fav pics ever in just a few minutes. That was one of the 23 selected for my exhibition DEADLYWOOD, so probably you already know it, but if you don’t, you can take a look at it here.

So, for all those things and for every little thing that joins me to this sweet blonde, I would like to celebrate this day with all of you by showing you the ‘2012 version’ of a couple of old favs of that photo shoot . I’ve improved a little bit in the last 2 years, and every time I see  the way I processed those pics, my retina gets burned (though I guess  it was the best I could do those days being a fan of the ultrasaturation and fucking porcelain faces). Hope you like the new ones!.

And for you, Silvi, I can’t tell you anything you don’t already know, only thanking you for everything, especially for having taken the right exit in the bad moments. Love you babe!

Not the most elegant place for a pic (car wash!) but… BEST TEAM ever anyway.

Hoy es un día muy importante para mí.  Hace exactamente  dos años que tuve la oportunidad de trabajar por primera vez con la chica que se convertiría en mi pareja artística por excelencia: Silvia

No resulta fácil hablar de forma objetiva sobre una persona a la que le tengo un cariño tan infinito y con la que he compartido tantos momentos inolvidables mucho más allá de la fotografía.   A veces somos un poco como el perro y el gato, pero en el fondo no podemos estar el uno sin el otro, verdad?. Ahora estamos a muchos kilómetros de distancia, pero nuestros corazones siguen latiendo juntos.

Silvia , además de salir espectacular en cada foto, es una es una de esas personas que te hacen pensar que solo por el mero hecho de haberla conocido ya merece la pena haber cogido una cámara. Tal fue la conexión entre nosotros ese día, que sin habernos visto previamente, en pocos minutos me regaló una de mis fotos favoritas, y que formó parte de las 23 seleccionadas para aparecer en mi exposición DEADLYWOOD. Probablemente muchos de vosotros ya la conozcáis, y si no, podéis verla aquí.

Por todo eso y por todo lo que me une a esta belleza rubia, me gustaría celebrar este día mostrándoos la «versión 2012» de dos de mis favoritas de esa sesión. En dos años he mejorado un poco y cuando veo la forma en la que procesé las fotos de ese día se me queman las retinas (aunque era lo mejor que lo podía hacer en aquel momento, fan de la ultra saturación y las odiosas caras de porcelana…) Espero que os gusten las nuevas versiones.

Y a ti Silvi, no te puedo decir nada que no sepas ya, tan solo darte una vez las gracias por todo, pero especialmente por haber sabido encontrar la salida correcta en los malos momentos. Te quiero pitu!!!
