425 Days… 13 months, 29 days… 1 year, 1 month and 29 days… it’s been a while, hasn’t it??? But DEADLYWOOD is back!!!! See to believe.

It’s been such a long time that it would be very difficult and probably very boring to recapitulate all the things that have happened, but who cares in the end? 2018 Is coming to an end, and I had not posted anything yet… so I had to come back at some point and bring back this sleeping lion to life, and the time is now.

My blog DEADLYWOOD has been kinda frozen, no news, no updates, no nothing… but those of you who follow me in other social media like Instagram or Facebook could notice that I have not been precisely with crossed arms.  Many things happened and contributed to this temporary absence like (in short)  a combination of being busy as fuck, fed up with the fetish scene, moving to a new place, traveling, not having the time neither feeling like writing and last but not least wondering if people finds interesting / appreciates the time and effort it takes to tell the stories behind my images

Highlights you should know and which can summarize a bit what happened during this period of time include  I have stopped working with the designer I used to team with forever, I haven’t shot my super Shelly during 2018 because of our busy schedules (but don’t panic we have hundreds of pics to show yet), I’ve finally shot my dearest  Lotte Lavey (not bad after 5 years kicking ass together!) and started my team with  Lady Elvendoll (formerly known as Elfen Püppchen). After several few years of communication, we agreed it was the right time to start being partners in crime, and the results so far cannot be more EPIC so far.

So today, the day of DEADLYWOOD’s come back, I had to share a SPECIAL pic, of someone SPECIAL, so here you have the most gorgeous Lady Elvendoll shining in one of my fav pics EVER. To make it even more SPECIAL  I can tell you it was taken on my birthday, so I can consider this beautiful image of the most beautiful girl in the world a present. We shot a kitty series in Heildelberg, Germany,  in a field completely packed with yellow flowers, which was supposed to be a very idyllic and quiet place… but only in theory!.  The moment we started shooting, cars which were driving by, stopped to stare at this cuteness, making this beautiful model a bit shy…. And just in case that was not enough, people with their bicycles and people walking by joined the “event” too. Didn’t take longer than 10 minutes before Lady Elvendoll felt very uncomfortable with so many people around, so we decided to move somewhere else to shoot something completely different.

Regarding the edition… well, I only had to adjust the colors a bit and that was all. This series is so beautiful and perfect that could even have been uploaded without any processing. Location was great, light was great, and Lady Elvendoll was simply the CUTEST kitty EVER!.

425 Días… 13 meses, 29 días… 1 año, 1 mes y 29 días… has pasado un tiempecito, no??? Pero DEADLYWOOD ha vuelto!!!! Ver para creer.

Hace tanto que no escribo que sería muy difícil y probablemente muy aburrido recapitular todas las cosas que han sucedido, pero a quién le importa al final? 2018 Está llegando a su fin y todavía no he posteado nada… así que en algún momento tenía que volver y revivir a este león dormido, y ahora es el momento.

Mi blog DEADLYWOOD ha estado bastante congelado, sin noticias, sin actualizaciones, sin nada… pero aquellos que me seguís en otros medios como Instagram o Facebook pudísteis notar que no he estado precisamente de brazos cruzados. Han sucedido un montón de cosas que han contribuído a esta ausencia temporal como (resumiendo un poco) una combinación de haber estado super ocupado, harto del mundo fetish, mudándome a un nuevo lugar, viajando, sin tener tiempo ni ganas de escribir y último pero igual de importante las dudas sobre si a la gente le interesa o aprecia que cuente las historias tras mis imágenes.

Las cosas más importantes que pueden resummir un poco lo sucedido durante este período de tiempo incluye el que he dejado de trabajar para siempre con la diseñadora con la que solía hacer equipo, que no he hecho fotos a mi súper Shelly durante el 2018 debido a nuestros calendarios tan ocupados (aunque qué no cunda el pánico, tenemos cientos de fotos por mostrar todavía), que por fin he hecho fotos a mi queridísima Lotte Lavey (no está mal tras 5 años dando guerra juntos) y que he comenzado a trabajar con  Lady Elvendoll (antiguamente conocida como Elfen Püppchen). Tras varios años de contacto, decidimos que era el momento adecuado para formar un súper equipo, y los resultados no pueden ser más ÉPICOS hasta el momento.

Por eso hoy, el día del retorno de DEADLYWOOD, tenía que compartir una foto ESPECIAL de alguien ESPECIAL, así que aquí tenéis a la preciosísima Lady Elvendoll brillando en una de mis fotos favorítas de todas las que he tomado. Para hacerla todavía más ESPECIAL, fue tomada el día de mi cumpleaños, así que puedo considerar esta bella imagen de la chica más guapa del mundo como un regalo. Hicimos una serie de fotos de gatita en Heildelberg, Alemania, un un campo cubierto de flores almarillas, que se suponía era un sitio muy idílico y tranquilo... pero sólo en teoría! En el de mometno de empezar a trabajar, los coches que pasaban por allí se detuvieron para contemplar a esta dulzura, haciendo que esta preciosidad se volviese un poco tímida… Y por si esto no fuese suficiente, la gente que pasaba con sus bicis y a pie también se unieron al «acontecimiento». En menos de 10 minutos Lady Elvendoll se empezó a sentir muy poco cómoda con semejante público alrededor, así que decidimos marcharnos a otra parte para continuar con un set completamente diferente.

Con respecto al procesado de la imagen… bien, sólamente tuve que ajustar los colores un poco y eso fue todo. Esta serie es tan bonita y perfecta que podría haber subido las fotos sin ningún tipo de edición. La localización era genial, la luz era genial y Lady Elvendoll fue simplemente la gatita más ENCANTADORA nunca vista!.

It’s been a while since last post, but good things take some time and I come back with someone certainly AWESOME. Princess Mortissa, a brand new face I somehow dragged into modelling and who left me really speechless from the very first time I saw her.

Second thing that surprised me the most about her was that NOBODY had taken pics of her so far, I can’t understand why yet… because first thing was how GORGEOUS and UNIQUE she is. The more I got to know her the more I adored her beautiful dark style and the magical world surrounding her. I really encourage you to visit her Instagram or Tumblr because you will love it. And this fascination can only grow and grow everyday known how lovely and grateful she is.

I contacted  Ausrie IMMEDIATELY first time I saw pics of Princess Mortissa because I knew she would fall deeply in love with her. And no need to say she did (I know quite well what my sis likes…) so to her big surprise “ I cannot understand why you would like to shoot me, I am honoured but I am not a model…” (isn’t she the cutest???) we got her involved into becoming the PRINCESS of our models.

After many conversations and before getting her directly into shooting latex, we decided to have a test shoot to see how comfortable she felt being taking pics. She suggested a very cute place, we waited for the right day and she dress completely gorgeous in her own style so she could feel really comfortable… last thing to know was if we were compatible working together, but that was more than proved 5 minutes after we had started to work. The more we shot, the more Princess Mortissa felt more and more comfortable, especially when she saw the great results and found it was “not so difficult”. Especially because she doesn’t really need to do much… it is a pleasure to see that no matter how or when you shoot, you always get a beautiful image of her.

Talking briefly about the edition, only thing I did was to enhance a bit how pale she is… also I intended to “hide” a bit the sunny day we had especially by desaturating the greens (that I never like with big saturation). The only thing I tried to avoid for this shoot was to shoot in a very sunny day, and unfortunately Mr.Sun self-invited into our photoshoot. So basically the edition is based in desaturation and giving the image a more “gothic” look. I DIDN’T have to touch Princess M at all…

To finish with today’s post, only mentioning, I was very happy when I found out this almost 2 meters creature (yes, you’ve read properly: 2 meters!!!) had a very nice time and especially when she liked already the raw images. But I was even happier to see people’s good reaction to the first pic Princess Mortissa posted, making her happy with their compliments (and even catching the attention of some big name in alternative modelling out there whom she has been admiring for years… )

There is not a better feeling than making someone happy, that’s why I am so proud about this shoot, these pictures and for having found such an amazing person to work with.

Ya ha pasado un poco desde el último post, pero todo lo bueno necesita su tiempo y vuelvo con alguien sencillamente GENIAL. Princess Mortissa, una cara nueva a la cual de alguna forma he arrastrado al modelaje y que me ha dejado sin palabras desde la primerísima vez que la vi.

La segunda cosa que me sorprendió de ella fue que NADIE le hubiese hecho fotos hasta ahora, todavía no entiendo la razón… porque la primera fue lo PRECIOSA y ÚNICA que es. A medida que la voy conociendo, cada vez adoro más su precioso estilo oscuro y el mundo tan mágico que la rodea. Os recomiendo de verdad que visitéis su Instagram o Tumblr porque os va a encantar. Y esta fascinación no hace más que crecer día a día al conocer lo encantadora y agradecida que es.

Contacté INMEDIATAMENTE con Ausrie la primera vez que vi fotos de Princess Mortissa poque sabía que se iba a enamorar locamente de ella. Ni que decir tiene que así fue (conozco a mi hermana bastante bien…) así que para su gran sorpresa “ no entiendo porque me quieres hacer fotos, me enorgullece, pero yo no soy una modelo…” (no es para comérsela???) la liamos para ser la PRINCESA de nuestras modelos.

Tras muchas conversaciones y antes de meterla de golpe a hacer fotos con látex, decidimos hacer una sesión de prueba para ver lo cómoda que se encontraba siendo fotografiada. Sugirió un sitio muy chulo, esperamos al día adecuado y se vistió absolutamente alucinante en su propio estilo para sentirse realmente confortable… lo último que faltaba por saber era si éramos compatibles trabajando juntos, algo que quedó probado a los  5 minutos cuando vio lo resultados y que «no era  tan difícil». Especialmente porque no tenía que hacer demasiado… es un auténtico placer que sin importar cuando o como dispares, siempre obtienes una imagen preciosa de ella.

Comentando brevemente la edición, lo único que hice fue acentuar un poco su palidez… y tratar de «ocultar» un poco el día de sol alpanador que tuvimos, principalmente desaturando los verdes (que nunca me gustan muy saturados). Lo único que intentamos fue evitar para hacer las fotos era un día de mucho sol, pero desafortunadmente el Señor Sol  se autoinvitó a nuestra sesión. Así que básicamente la edición está reducida a deasaturar y darle a la imagen un look más “gótico”. NO tuve que tocar para nada a  Princess M…

Para terminar con el post de hoy, sólo añadir que me alegró mucho especialmente el saber que esta criatura de casi 2 metros  (sí, habéis leído bien: 2 metros!!!) lo pasó muy bien y  que le gustaban ya muchísimo las imágenes incluso sin editar. Pero aún me puso más contento fue ver lo contenta que se puso Princess Mortissa con la buena reacción de la gente a la primera foto publicada y todos los piropos (llamando hasta la atención de uno de los grandes nombres en el modelaje alternativo al cual ella admira desde hace tiempo…)

No hay mejor sentimiento que el de hacer feliz a alguien y es por eso por lo que estoy tan orgulloso de esta sesión, de estas fotos y por haber encontrado a una persona tan alucinante con la que trabajar.

CANDID LAV & ONNA SAKURA

I was not expecting to post anything today, but since my dearest Candid Lavin decided to share this image of herself and Onna Sakura, let’s tell something about it because it has some kind of cute story behind.

It is not very often I shoot two (or more) girls together… mainly because I always prefer to focus all my attention in just one, not to say there must be some kind of magic / connection between them which makes the picture work. Girls must be chosen really carefully, especially to keep a balance and to say it clearly: so one of them does not look much better than the other.

I was shooting Onna at Kinky’s Kingdom as I explained 2 posts ago, and Candid Lavin was there, (loooooking great as usual) so I asked her to stand with Onna for a couple of pics. It was soooo funny because she was a bit shy and surprised like: “who? me? reaaally? Aaaaawwww” . So I said “of coooooooourse…YOOOOOOOOOOU!!!!”

Candid Lavin was taking her first steps into the fetish modelling scene and she thanked me infinitely for the pics because it was for her a big honour and reason of happiness to be shot with someone which such a big and consolidated name as my dearest Onna. I found her reaction super cuuuuuute taking into account Candid Lavin is (as you probably already noticed) super super super AMAZING, with absolutely NOTHING to envy to any other model.

Those are a little bit the facts, I wanted to share them with you because Candid Lavin is one of the kindest and most amazing amigas I have. She has done many things for me, so I really like to “help” her every time I have the chance.

No tenía planes de publicar algo hoy, pero ya que mi querida Candid Lavin decidió compartir esta imagen de ella y Onna Sakura, contemos algo acerca ya que tiene una historia un tanto tierna detrás.

No es muy habitual que haga fotos a dos (o más) modelos juntas… principalmente porque prefiero centrar toda mi atención en sólo una, sin tener que decir por supuesto que tiene que haber algún tipo de magia / connexión entre ellas que haga que la foto funcione. Las chicas deben ser escogidas cuidadosamente, especialmente para mantener un balance y diciéndolo claramente: para que no haya mucha diferencia entre como sale una y otra.

Estaba trabajando con Onna en Kinky’s Kingdom como os conté hace 2 posts y Candid Lavin andaba por allí (brutal como siempre) así que le pedí que posase con Onna para un par de fotos. Fue muy gracioso porque ella tímida y soprendida dijo: “quién? yo? en serio? aaaaawwww”. Y yo respondí “claaaaaaaaaro…TUUUUUUUUUUU!!”

Candid Lavin estaba dando sus primeros pasos en el el mundo del fetish me agradeció infinitamente una y otra vez las fotos, era para ella un gran honor y motive de alegría hacerse fotos con alguien con un nombre tan consolidado como mi queridísima Onna. Su reacción me parecío super tierna teniendo en cuenta que (como probablemente ya hayáis notado) Candid Lavin es súper, súper, súper ESPECTACULAR, sin absolutamente NADA que envidiar a cualquier otra modelo.

Esos son un poco los hechos, quería compartirlos con vosotros porque Candid Lavin es una de las personas mas encantadoras y mejores amigas que tengo. Ha hecho muchas cosas por mí, asi que me encanta “ayudarla” cada vez que tengo la ocasión.

I had the second photoshoot of 2016 on Saturday… with the big luck of working with the sweetest creature ever: the always dark and amazing Little Miss Horror. I am not going to unveil too many details for now, but I can already tell you we shot in a forest with DEADLY conditions (3 ˚C + wind) and not only Little Miss Horror showed she has superpowers not to get FROZEN but also she did an awesome work. Anyways, nothing that could not be fixed with a hot chocolate after we finished.

You’ll hopefully see some stuff very soon, but in the meantime here’s a sweet test shoot of the lady before the “torture” began.

Thanks a lot Little Miss Horror… this is the beginning of a terrific friendship!

Tuve la segunda sesión del 2016 el Sábado… con la enorme suerte de trabajar con la criatura más dulce que se haya visto: la siempre oscura y sorprendente Little Miss Horror. No voy a desvelar muchos detalles de momento, pero ya puedo contaros que hicimos las fotos en un bosque con condiciones MORTALES (3 ˚C + viento) y no sólo Little Miss Horror demostró que tiene superpoderes para no CONGELARSE sino que hizo un trabajo magnífico. En fin, nada que no se pudiese solucionar con un chocolate caliente al terminar.

Espero que pronto podáis ver algo, aunque mientras tanto, aquí os queda una foto de prueba de la dama andtes de que la “tortura” comenzase.

Muchas gracias Little Miss Horror… ésto es el comienzo de una amistad terrorífica.

Photographic “production» has been totally frozen lately due to my tight agenda, so I need to go back to my archive in order to rescue some stuff for you. I edited today’s pics some months ago, but couldn’t really find the right moment to show them.

Telling the story in just a few words, during last Dominatrix’s meet & greet I happened to talk to a pretty and cute Swedish girl who was there with the always crazy Miss Teapot. She was soooo cute and lovely that even not being one of the “models” of the event, I couldn’t say no when she was joking about shooting together. She was sooo happy and excited (and pretty) that I knew I could do something nice with her.

We shot in the exterior of the hotel on Sunday morning, right after the paaaaaaarty and even though it was not very warm (Noveeeeeeeeeember…) she managed to raise the heat with her Swedish Superpowers. Probably the most anecdotic fact of the shoot is she didn’t even had a “model name” when we shot, so we tried to find something together as soon as we finished, going for Sassie Kinks in the end.

The rest of the story is even nicer… she has become my best friend in Sweden, she’s growing as a model and I get super happy everytime I see she uploads nice stuff.

La “producción» fotográfica ha estado un tanto detenida últimamente debido a mi agenda tan apretada, así que me he visto obligado a recurrir a mi archivo para recuperar algo de material que mostratros. Edité las fotos de hoy hace unos meses, pero no di encontrado el momento adecuado para publicarlas.

Contando la historia con pocas palabras, durante el meet & greet del último Dominatrix, tuve la oportunidad de casualidad de hablar con una chica sueca muy guapa y encantadora que estaba con la siempre impactante Miss Teapot.  Era taaaaaaan guapa y encantadooooooora que aun no siendo una de las “modelos”  del evento no pude decir no cuando bromeaba acerca de trabajar juntos. Sabía muy bien que podría hacer algo bueno con ella.

Hicimos las fotos fuera del hotel el domingo por la mañana justo después de la fiesta y aunque no hacía precisamene mucho calor (Novieeeeeeeeembre) ella consiguió elevar la temperatura con sus superpoderes suecos. Tal vez lo más anecdótico de la sesión fue que no tenía ni «nombre artísitico» cuando hicimos las fotos, así que intentamos encontrar algo juntos tan pronto como terminamos, llegando al final a Sassie Kinks.

El resto de la historia es todavía más bonito… se ha convertido en mi mejor amiga en Suecia, sigue creciendo como modelo y me alegro un montón cada vez que sube buen material.

Probably you have never seen before this cute lady as a model before. Her name is Zoe Lisa and she was one of the new faces I shot at last Dominatrix. I was very happy when I was asked by Brigitte More (aka the Evil Empress of Lovely Latex’s Empire ) if I would shoot her daughter. So how hell could I have said no?

Zoe was super happy and radiant with her Lovely Latex corset, so I did my best to capture all her beauty and illusion for the shoot. And it was a very nice shoot where I counted on (and this never happens) the most beautiful assistant ever: Bunny Haas!!!. But as her name says, Bunny Haas is a cute and lovely bunny, so she ran away from us only 1 minute later after we had started to work. Therefore, since Zoe and I are EEEEEEEEEEVIL people, we were forced to make her pay for her sins (see FUNNY pic below).

Edition was quite simple… Zoe is super pretty and didn’t need anything… I just made sure all the latex looked perfectly lovely and the background had the right illumination, just to keep the right balance for the image.

Time to enjoy Zoe’s beauty. Thanks a lot sweetie!

Probablemente no hayáis visto a esta bella dama de modelo con anterioridad. Su nombre es Zoe Lisa y fue una de las caras nuevas a las que le hice fotos en  Dominatrix. Me quedé muy contento cuando Brigitte More (la Maléfica Emperatiz del Imperio del Látex Precioso) me preguntó si le haría fotos a su hija. Así que cómo demonios le iba a decir que no?

Zoe estaba súper contenta y radiante con su corset de Lovely Latex, así que hice todo lo posible para capturar toda su belleza y esa ilusión que tenía por las sesión. Y fue una sesión muy guay en la que conté (y esto no suele suceder nunca) con la asistente más guapa del mundo mundial: Conejita Haas!!!.

Pero como su nombre dice, Conejita Haas es una linda y encantadora conejita, por lo cual huyó tan sólo 1 minuto después de haber empezado. Por lo tanto, como Zoe y yo somos MALVAAAAAAADOS, nos vimos obligados a hacerla pagar por sus pecados (ver foto DIVERTIDA más arriba).

La edición fue bastante sencilla… Zoe es súper guapa y no necesitaba nada… Solamente me aseguré de que todo el látex luciese preciosísimo y de que el fondo tuviese la iluminación correcta, para mantener el balance exacto en la imagen.

A couple of days ago I received a message from my super special one: Sugarfairy. We hadn’t talked for a while, though she always manages to draw a sugarsweet smile on my face everytime we are in touch. And good news is we are working together agaaaaain veeeeeery soon!!!

I can’t be happier because my cute tiny sexy sweet is someone really special, a real gift of friendship which photography gave me and someone who hasn’t stopped becoming really important since the very first night me met in Düsseldorf way back in 2012. And it’s not like that only for me, because everyone I meet and finds about our friendship can’t stop praising this tiny diamond who is even taller than me! I always tell this story every time I happen to write about her so I guess I can skip it this time.

What I am showing you today is a picture I took last year in Essen, it is part of other of our lovely shoots and my little one looks gorgeous wearing that nice latex outfit. Thanks a lot once again man!. Not a lot to say about this one, it was one of the very last pictures we took that day, already in a rush because other niiiiiiiiice german friend Onna Sakura was already waiting to kill me for being “a bit late” to our appointment.

The processing has neither interesting nor remarkable… Just fixing minor stuff on Sugarfairy’s skin, some color corrections… nothing that’s gonna send me straight to hell this time.

Ahhhh… and by the way, “Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag” to my cute & little Nala!!!. Show her some love…

Hace un par de días recibí un mensaje de mi súper especial: Sugarfairy. Ya hacía que no hablábamos, aunque siempre consigue dibujarme una sonrisa cada vez que lo hacemos. Y las buenas noticias son que vamos a trabajar juntos oooootra veeeeeez muuuuy pronto!!!

No podría estar más feliz porque esta cosita pequeña y sexy es alguien súper especial pa mí, un auténtico regalo que me hizo la fotografía desde el primerísimo momento que la conocí en Düsseldorf allá por el 2012 y que no ha parado de ser cada vez más importante desde entonces. Y no sólo es así para mí, porque todas las personas que me encuentro y conocen nuestra amistad no paran de alabar a este pequeño diamante que es más alto que yo!. Siempre que da la casualidad de hablar de ella cuento esta historia, así que creo que puedo pasarla por alto esta vez.

La foto que os muestro hoy la hice el año pasado en Essen, forma parte de otra de nuestras sesiones y mi pequeñaja está radiante con ese vestido de látex. Muchas gracias de nuevo!. No hay mucho que decir acerca de ésta, fue una de las últimas fotos de aquel día, tomada a toda prisa porque tenía a otro amooooooooooor alemán llamado Onna Sakura esperando para matarme por llegar “un poco tarde” a nuestra cita.

El procesado no tiene nada ni interesante ni que remarcar… Solamente arreglar algunas cosillas en la piel de Sugarfairy y unas correcciones de color… nada por lo que vaya a ir al infierno esta vez.

Ahhhh… y por cierto, “Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag” a mi lindísima Nala!!!. Mostradle un poco de cariño…

It’s been some time since I didn’t celebrate anybody’s birthday in DEADLYWOOD. Easy to solve because yesterday it was sweet child o’mine Jenn’s and I remembered I had some cute pics “lost” never shown before. Unfortunately I didn’t have any time to write anything yesterday, but here I am finally.

September 2013: after several failed attempts through the years, Jenn and I travelled together to Las Vegas and to Prypiat, to have some fun and of course to take some pics (some things will never change!). Those days were really really nice and we had the chance of doing some crazy things together.

I’ve known Jenn for many years since I first met her in Madrid partying and being gorgeous at Supersonic… we immediately became special friends and shooting & dedicating each other some time had always been on our minds. So those two trips were a perfect chance.

The thing is I have hundreds of pics of her and most of them have been “forgotten” which is a shame because most of them are really impressive and I like them a lot. But well… I am a disaster sometimes and shit usually happens.

Shooting in Prypiat was really impressive and special / weird. Jenn’s beauty, that amazing wasteland and Guns & Roses hitting Ukraine!!!. I fell in love immediately with this picture, so much that I remember to have posted immediately a preview of it on facebook back in those days… Jenn looked awesome, the pose was cute and the balance of her beauty and the location was perfect… We got many cute pictures that day, but I think this was my super favorite.

The only bad memories which comes to my mind is to have lost all the crazy pics I had taken with my phone during those days when some motherfucker stole my laptop where I had stored them. But that’s a different story.

The edition was really simple, just re-illuminating some parts… and finding a style which matched with the location, its atmosphere and the idea I had in mind. Something it didn’t took me that much, but that has been waiting to be done for one year and a half. Well, let’s say some pics are like good wine, they need their time to get better… LOL!

Not much more to add than promising you that I will show many more pics of these sessions… to start editing them was a thorn I had stuck, and it was high time to let them bleed.

And sweet child o’mine Jenn, Happy Birthday (and thanks for your iiiiiiiiinfinite patience!).

Ya hace que no celebro ningún cumpleaños en DEADLYWOOD. Fácil solución porque ayer fue el de sweet child o’mine Jenn y me acordé de que tenía algunas fotos chulas suyas «perdidas» que no había mostrado nunca. Desafortunadamente ayer no tuve tiempo para escribir nada, pero aquí me tenéis.

Septiembre 2013: tras varios intentos fallidos a lo largo de los años, Jenn y yo viajamos juntos a Las Vegas y a Prypiat para divertirnos y naturalmente para hacer algunas fotos (algunas cosas no cambiarán nunca!). Fueron unos días muy muy bonitos y al final tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer cosas juntos.

Conozco a Jenn desde hace muchos años desde que la vi por primera vez de fiesta en Madrid e impresionando al personal en el Supersonic… nos hicimos amigos muy especiales al instante y el hacer fotos y dedicarnos algún tiempo siempre había estado presente en nuestras mentes. Así que esos viajes eran la oportunidad perfecta.

El tema es ue tengo cientos de fotos de ella y la mayor parte han permanecido  “perdidas” lo que es una pena porque la gran mayoría son impresionantes y me gustan mucho. Pero bueno… soy un desastre y a veces estas cosas pasan.

Hacer fotos en Prypiat fue realmente especial / raro e  impresionante. La belleza de Jenn, ese escenario tan devastador y Guns & Roses en Ucrania!!!. Me enamoré al momento de esta foto, tanto que recuerdo haber subido una preview al momento a facebook… Jenn estaba preciosa, la pose era genial y el balance entre su belleza y el lugar era perfecto… Tenemos un montón de fotos chulas de ese día, pero creo que esta es mi súper favorita.

El único recuerdo malo que se me viene a la cabeza es haber perdido todas las fotos que habíahecho con mi teléfono durante esos días cuando algún hijo de fruta me robó el portátil donde las tenía guardadas. Pero eso es otra historia.

La edición fue sencillísima, solamente reiluminar algunas partes… y encontrar un estilo que encajase con la localización, la atmósfera y la idea que tenía en mi cabeza. Algo que no me llevó casi nada, pero que ha estado esperando a ser hecho durante año y medio. Bueno, digamos que algunas fotos son como el buen vino, necesitan su tiempo para mejorar… ja, ja, ja.

No mucho más que añadir, sólamente prometeros que mostraré más fotos de estas sesiones… empezar a editarlas era una espinita que tenía clavada y ya iba siendo hora de dejarlas sangrar.

Y sweet child o’mine Jenn, Feliz Cumpleaños (y muchísimas gracias por tu paciencia infiniiiiiiiiiiita!).

I told you on Monday I was going to show you new girls… But to my surprise I found out “Cookie” likes to see my pictures which made me extremely happy. Besides, taking into account she has been dangerously sick lately, I thought it would be nice to dedicate her something very special. So new girls can wait. “Cookie” these two pics of your favorite lady are for you. I send you a very big hug and a bigger kiss, get well soon and don’t ever stop being neither so smart nor so lovely. Promise me?

Focusing on the pics themselves, they are a just couple of the hundreds of Naomi’s pictures I have and that will probably never see the light. They come from the times we thought we were the best team ever (at least I did…) and when we had the intention of having a website “together”.

This was the most serious of the many photo shoots we had. We spent more than 12 hours shooting in a very nice hotel and the results were fantastic. It was an extremely exhausting afternoon / evening but it was really worth. We shot several sets, several outfits, mainly for the site, but also for Suicide Girls, a set that in the very very end Naomi decided not to submit, and some pics just for fun like the ones I’m showing.

The first picture came immediately to my mind when we werewalking to our room and I saw this kind of hall: Black and white, Naomi standing gorgeous in the center wearing something elegant, looking magnificent in such a cool location… the image was perfectly defined on my mind.

The main problem would be to shoot it… avoiding people and avoiding making a big show. So we shot all the other stuff, waited until 3 in the morning and we finally got ready to do it when we thought nobody was around. My biggest concern was how to illuminate everything in the way I wanted in just a few seconds. The goal was to achieve only one picture, the one I had in mind, so I started shooting, and not even 2 minutes later we had curious people staring at us 😦

We got out of there to the room running, with barely 8 test / pictures taken… and to my surprise, we had got the pic!!!! We kick ass!!!! Once in the room, we continued shooting for 90 minutes more, our “famous” pics of Naomi in the toilet.

The edition was quite easy once I managed to correct the perspective of the lens. Images were unfortunately taken in barely 1 minute, so I didn’t have much time to frame perfectly… and the building needed to be shown in a PERFECT way. So well, I did my best to correct the perspective, keep the symmetry, lines perfectly straight, bla, bla, bla… The result is not perfect, but good enough in the end taking into account the circumstances. The rest was only a matter of finding the black and white I had on my mind…

Os dije el lunes que pronto os iba a mostrar chicas nuevas… Pero para mi sorpresa descubrí que a “Cookie” le gusta ver mis fotos y eso me puso muy contento. Además, teniendo en cuenta que ha estado peligrosamente enferma últimamente, pensé en que sería bonito dedicarle algo muy especial. Así que las chicas nuevas pueden esperar. “Cookie” estas dos fotos de tu chica favorita son para ti. Te mando un abrazo muy grande y un beso todavía mucho más, ponte bien muy pronto y no dejes ni de ser ni tan lista ni tan linda. Me lo prometes?

Centrándome en las fotos, son sólo un par de los cientos de fotos de Naomi que tengo y que probablemente nunca verán la luz. Pertenecen a los tiempos en los que creíamos que éramos el mejor equipo del mundo mundial (al menos yo lo creía…) y de cuando teníamos la intención de tener una web «juntos».

Esta fue la sesión más seria de todas las que hicimos. Nos tiramos más de 12 horas haciendo fotos en un hotel muy chulo y los resultados fueron fantásticos. Fue una tarde / noche realmente agotadora, pero mereció realmente la pena. Hicimos varios sets, principálmente para la página, pero también para Suicide Girls, un set que justo al final de todo Naomi decidió no enviar y algunas otras fotos por diversión como éstas que comparto hoy.

La primera de las fotos vino automáticamente a mi cabeza cuando caminábamos hacia nuestra habitación y vimos esa especie de hall: Blanco y negro, Naomi de pie grandiosa en el medio, con algo elegante puesto… la imagen estaba perfectamente definida en mi cabeza.

El problema principal sería llevarla a cabo… evitando a la gente y evitando montar el show. Así que hicimos los otros sets primero y esperamos hasta las 3 de la mañana hasta que pensamos que no habría nadie por allí. Mi mayor preocupación era como iluminar todo como yo quería en sólo unos segundos. La meta era conseguir  tan sólo una foto, la que tenía en mente y ni tan siquiera dos minutos más tarde ya teníamos a curiosos observándonos 😦

Nos fuimos corriendo para la habitación, con apenas 8 pruebas / fotos… y para mi alegría, teníamos la toma!!! Somos los mejores!!!. Ya en la habitación continuamos durante 90 minutos más, nuestras “famosas” fotos de Naomi en el servicio.

La edición fue muy fácil una vez que conseguí corregir la perspectiva de la lente. Las imágenes fueron tomadas desafortunadamente en apenas 1 minuto, así que no tuve mucho tiempo para encuadrar todo lo bien que quisiese… y tenía que mostrar el edificio PERFECTO. Así que bueno, hice todo lo que pude para corregir la perspectiva, mantener la simetría, las líneas perfectamente rectas,  bla, bla, bla… El resultado no es perfecto, pero creo que lo suficientemente bueno al final teniendo en cuenta las circunstancias. Lo demás fue sólo cuestión de encontrar el blanco y negro que tenía en mi cabeza…
