«That is Kato‘s pool!!!!» many of her die-hard fans would will say… Even my sister Ausrie did!!!
Next stop after leaving L.A. was visiting Kato in San Bernardino. It hadn’t rained there for 6 months… until the 2 Europeans got there. That was certainly «a stroke of luck» and a big change of plans, not only for shooting but also for all our plans involving their highly interesting pool.
There are not words which can describe how lovely our hosts Kato and DPunk were with us, we do not have anything else than words of infinite gratitude… they made us feel really at home at their stunning steampunk mansion. So guys, thanks a lot.
As said, rain changed all the plans, so after the nice dinner and chat we had (thanks again guys!) Shelly and I were still tempted to shoot (and to use the pool!). In fact, I think we only had one plan in mind: pool, poooool, pooooooooooooo!! 🙂
It was already dark, rainy, a bit cold but still Shelly looked at me and said «fucking hell!!!». So she got immediately into a cuuuuute Seven Sin Latex outfit and went inside the pool. But soon did she realize maybe it had not been such a good idea… it was coooold!!
Everytime we shoot, and I think you already know it, we do it quite fast… well, this time, we did it even faster. And my impression of the shoot was terrible because I was not getting the stuff I was hoping and I was not sure at all of getting what Shelly was expecting, while being wet, freezing, grumpy and starting to swear a little bit, lol!.
We stoped in just a few min and I did not look at those pics again until last week. I honestly thought I had sucked and they were the worst ones we took during our whole tour.
But to my surprise, when Shelly gave me her choices to edit, I realized they were maybe not that bad. I am really IN LOVE with this one. In fact, this is one of my fav pictures of her… I think the style we gave it is perfect. This raw black and white gives it a special life… it is raw, honest and once again Shelly looks amazing…
Once again, this is us… this is how spontaneous are and how we work. Most of our shoots in the USA happened like this…
And just to finish this post… I would like to thank again LOVELY Kato and DPunk. We were honored to be there with you, to spend that nice time together and to finally get to know we have 2 GOOD friends there. See you soon!!!!

«Esa es la piscina de Kato!!!!» van a decir muchos de sus seguidores… Hasta mi hermana Ausrie lo dijo!!!
La siguiente parada tras dejar L.A. era visitar a Kato en San Bernardino. No había llovido por allí en los últimos 6 meses… hasta que llegaron los 2 Europeos. Fue sin duda «un golpe de suerte» y un gran cambio de planes, no solo para las fotos sino también para todos aquellos planes que tenían algo que ver con su interesante piscina.
No hay palabras que puedan describir loencantadores que nuestros anfitriones Kato y DPunk fueron con nosotros, no tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento infinito… nos hicieron sentir como en casa en su impresionante mansión. Así que tíos, muchas gracias.
Como dije, la lluvia cambió todos los planes, así que después de una buena cena y charla (gracias de nuevo tíos), Shelly y yo nos sentíamos todavía tentados a hacer fotos (y usar la piscina!). De hecho, creo que sólo teníamos un plan en mente: piscina, pisciiiina, pisciiiiiiiiiiina!! 🙂
Ya estaba oscuro, lloviznaba, y hacía un poco de frío pero aún así Shelly miró para mí y dijo «qué cojones!». Se puso al momento un modelito muy guay de Seven Sin Latex y se metió en la piscina. Pero no tardó mucho en darse cuenta de que tal vez no había sido muy buena idea… estaba muuuuuuuuy fría!!.
Siempre que hacemos fotos, y creo que ya lo sabéis, somos muy rápidos… bien, esta vez, todavía mucho más. Y mi impresión de la sesión fue terrible porque los resultados que obtenía no eran lo que yo quería y no estaba nada seguro de que se acercasen a lo que esperaba Shelly mientras estaba mojada, congelándose, gruñona y empezando a jurar un poco, ja, ja, ja!.
Paramos tras unos pocos minutos y no volvi a mirar esas fotos hasta la semana pasada. La verdad es que pensaba que eran una mierda, las peores de toda nuestra gira.
Pero para mi sorpresa, cuando Shelly me pasó la lista de cuales editar, me di cuenta de que no eran tan malas. Ésta me ENCANTA. De hecho es una de mis favoritas de todas las que le he hecho… Creo que el estilo que le dimos es perfecto. El blanco y negro le da una vida especial… es crudo, honesto y una bez más Shelly sale increible.
De nuevo, totalmente nosotros… lo espontáneos que somos y como trabajamos. La mayoría de nuestras sesiones en E.E.U.U. sucedieron así.
Y para terminar con esta entrada. agradecer todo otra vez a los ENCANTADORES Kato y DPunk. Fue un honor para nosotros estar ahí con vosotros y confimar por fin que tenemos 2 buenos AMIGOS ahí. Nos vemos pronto!!!
