Woooooow… This time, it’s REALLY been a while. Such a long time that situation almost looks embarrasing, but it’s better late than never, so it is time to catch up again with DEADLYWOOD and try to put things up to date a little bit.

First and very important thing I must do is solve the problem with my images here… As Itold you in my last post, and as you might have noticed, pics are not shown in the oldest posts due to a stupid new policy of the hosting where I was uploading them.  I am changing them little by little and it takes some time… But don’t panic: working on it 😉

Then… what has happened during all this time? Pffff, many things… so many I was too busy to upload stuff here (which, in the other hand,  would not have been very difficult) but especially to write this stories (which certainly requires some more time to me).

Summarizing, and in a veeeery brief way, just telling you I have been traveling most of the time, working on some side projects, preparing images for Shelly DInferno‘s 2018 calendar, shooting a little bit and of course: on holydays!! So it was high time to come back and rescue my blog which was drifting away. . I’ll do my best to keep it up to date… intention is always good, but it is time who really rules this page.

My comeback picture belongs to my super muse Yuka Estrella. You might have noticed DEADLYWOOD (and my pictures) have slowly turned into some kind of monographic of two people who (what a coincidence!) are my two super models and friends. Just in case you dont’t realize, talking about Shelly DInferno and of course Yuka Estrella.

This pink pastel bubblegum image of Yuka belongs to a photoshoot we had in Paris, and since organization is not our strongest virtue when we work together, we finally had to shoot  at a friend’s lovely place (big Thanks Bertoulle!) and of course: in a rush because my train back home was leaving imminently and HAD to go to the station – but never without Yuki !!! Taking into account  it is very easy to work with someone so amazing as she is and that I can cope quite well with working under pressure… the shoot was a complete success.

Yuka, as the super Ausrie Fel‘s model she is, was shot wearing my sis’s latex and what I really liked this time was we decided to abandon for a while all that dark satanic and scaaaaary look just to go  for something funnier, crazier and more surprising.  Ausrie could not see very clearly how her brand new design, the studded spiked satanic bikini was going to be shot with a girl with pink pastel hair, until she saw the pics… So never underestimate Yuka and Álex… SUPERTEAM, LOL!

The processing for this one was quite easy. I really liked how white the location was, and also its light so I didn’t like to modify that appearance at all. Yuka didn’t require any retouch, I adjusted the saturation of the different parts of her body, and what really required some work (but not too much either)  was cleaning and making the latex look acceptable. Not too much latex though, but still: it’s an OBSESSION to me because it is not something most photographers pay attention to.

YUKA ESTRELLA (For AUSRIE FEL) – Pic by Álex Pérez (2017)

Woooooow… Esta vez, SÍ que ha pasado un buen rato. Tanto que la situación casi da vergüenza, pero bueno, más vale tarde que nunca, así que es momento de reencontrarse con DEADLYWOOD y de tratar de poner las cosas un poco al día.

Lo primero y más importante que debo hacer es resolver el problema que tengo con las imágenes…. Como os conté en el último post y como podréis haber notado, las fotos de los posts más antiguos no se ven debido a un estúpido cambio en las condiciones del host a donde las estaba subiendo. Estoy moviéndolas a otro, pero poco a poco y requiere algún tiempo… Pero que no cunda el pánico: trabajo en ello 😉

Entonces… qué es lo que ha sucedido durante todo este tiempo? Pfffff, un montón de cosas… tantas que estado demasiado liado como para subir cosas aquí (lo cual, por otra parte, no hubiese sido muy difícil) pero en particular, para escribir todas estas historietas (lo cual me requiere algo más de tiempo).

Resumiendo, y de una forma muuuuy breve, contaros simplemente que he estado viajando la mayor parte del tiempo, trabajando en proyectos paralelos, preparando las imágenes para el calendario del 2018 de Shelly DInferno y como no: de vacaciones!!. Así que ya tocaba volver para rescatar my blog que estaba vagando a la deriva. Lo haré lo mejor que pueda para tenerlo al día… la intención es siempre buena, pero es el tiempo quien realmente gobierna esta página.

Mi foto de «vuelta al cole» pertenece a mi súper musa Yuka Estrella. Puede ser que hayáis notado que DEADLYWOOD (y mis fotos) se han ido transformando poco a poco en un onográfico de dos personas las cuales (qué coincidencia!) son mi súper modelos y amigas. Por si ho os hubiéseis percatado, hablo de Shelly DInferno y naturalmente de Yuka Estrella.

Esta foto tan pink pastel bubblegum de Yuka pertenece a una sesión que hicimos en Paris, y como la organización no es nuestro mayor fuerte cuando toca de trabajar juntos, al final tuvimos que recurrir a la preciosa casa de una amiga  (muchas gracias Bertoulle!) y por supuesto: a toda prisa porque mi tren para volver a casa partía INMINENTEMENTE y aun TENÍA que ir pitando para la estación – pero nunca sin Yuki !!! Teniendo en cuenta lo fácil que es trabajar con alguien tan espectácular como ella y que se me da bastante bien hacerlo bajo presión… la sesión fue un éxito total.

Yuka, como súper modelo de Ausrie Fel que es, llevaba el látex de mi hermana y lo que  me gustó de verdad de esta sesión fue que decidimos abandonar por esta vez todo ese look tan oscuro, satánico y serio para apostar por algo más divertido, más loco y más impactante. Ausrie no veía nada claro como su recién diseñado bikini con pinchos iba a pegar con una chica con pastel look y pelo rosa, hasta que vió las fotos… 🙂 Así que nunca subestiméis a Yuka y Álex… SÚPEREQUIPO, ja ja ja!

La edición para ésta fue muy sencilla. Me gustaba mucho lo blanca que era la localización y su luz, así que no quise modificar esa apariencia para nada. A Yuka no fue necesario tocarla, ajusté un poco la saturación de las distintas partes de su cuerpo, y lo que dio un poco más de trabajo (aunque tampoco fue gran cosa) fue limpiar y hacer que el látex luciese aceptable. No es que hubiese mucho látex, pero aún así: es una  OBSESIÓN mía ya que no es algo a lo que la mayoría de fotoógrafos le presten mucha atención.

Esto es todo de momento. Entradas nuevas, fotos nuevas y aventuras nuevas muy pronto. Permanezcan en antena…
