GOODBYE 2016… HELLO 2017!!!

Wooow… it´s been more than four months since my last post… DEADLYWOOD has been kinda abandoned because of several reasons, but basically due to super busy times and too many things happening. I was sooo smashed by the growing snowball which made me damn lazy to post… didn´t have a clue were to start from. But today is New Year’s Eve, so I think I should, at least, close this year with a last post. It is better late than never…

I am not going to write too much, I would only like to thank all the people I’ve worked with during this year, for your trust and especially for your patience. A million thanks to Sway Fierce, Little Miss Horror, Cassidy Rose, Miss Tequila, Stella Von Monroe, Dani Divine, Kiet Katharsis, Octokuro, Onna Sakura, Maja Stina, Mike Garcia, Nikita Klosewood, Pyrohex, Missa Blue, SaphirNoir, Kirby Van Beek, Princess Mortissa, Cecina Niehof, Tanit Isis, Narcissa and any other person not listed here.

But this year would have never been the same without 2 very special persons: my sister Ausrie Fel and Shelly D’Inferno. My most sincere thank you for your talent, support and great stuff we´ve done together. Ausrie and I – aka THE GRUMPY BROS – managed to consolidate Ausrie Fel latex a little bit more, and Shelly and I, among other things, rocked the US with lots of pictures and crazy and funny adventures in Uncle Sam’s (or Uncle Trump’s now) land.

That’s why I´ve decided to share this image today… This is not more than a backstage shot, but it gathers those 2 very important people on a picture for the very first time. The ladies getting ready to be shot at last Wasteland (thanks again Rene!!!) and of course… with the usual selfie happening, DAMN Ausrie, LOL!

2017 Is about to start… new projects, brand new faces, new adventures… so stay tuned. I promise keep on surprising you during the next 12 months.

SHELLY D’INFERNO & AUSRIE FEL 4 AUSRIE FEL – Pic by Álex Pérex (2016)

Wooow… ya hace casi cuatro meses desde mi último post… DEADLYWOOD ha estado bastante abandonado por varios motivos, pero básicamente por haber estado muy ocupado y por desmasiadas cosas sucediendo. Me aplastó tanto la bola de nieve que me daba muchísima pereza escribir entradas nuevas… no tenía ni idea de por donde empezar. Pero hoy es Fin de Año, así que creo que, al menos, debería cerrar este año con una última entrada. Más vale tarde que nunca…

No me voy a extender demasiado, sólo me gustaría darle las gracias a toda la gente con la que he trabajado por su confianza, y en especial, por su paciencia. Un millón de gracias a Sway Fierce, Little Miss Horror, Cassidy Rose, Miss Tequila, Stella Von Monroe, Dani Divine, Kiet Katharsis, Octokuro, Onna Sakura, Maja Stina, Mike Garcia, Nikita Klosewood, Pyrohex, Missa Blue, SaphirNoir, Kirby Van Beek, Princess Mortissa, Cecina Niehof, Tanit Isis, Narcissa y a cualquier otra persona no listada aquí.

Pero este año nunca habría sido lo mismo sin dos personas muy especiales: mi hermana Ausrie Fel y Shelly D’Inferno. Mi más sincero agradecimmiento por vuestro talento, apoyo y las grandes cosas que hemos hecho juntos. Ausrie y yo – los HERMANOS GRUÑONES – logramos consolidar un poco más Ausrie Fel látex y Shelly y yo, entre otras cosas, la liamos parda en Estados Unidos, con montones de fotos, aventuras locas y divertidas por el país del Tío Sam (o del Tío Trump ahora).

Es por ello por lo que he decidido compartir esta imágen hoy… No es más que una foto tipo «making of», pero junta por primera vez a estas dos personas tan importantes en una foto. Las damas preparándose para la sesión de fotos en la última edición de Wasteland (gracias de nuevo Rene!!!) y por supuesto: no podía faltar el selfie de rigor, MALDITA Ausrie, ja, ja, ja!.

2017 Está a punto de comenzar… nuevos proyectos, nuevas caras, nuevas aventuras… así que permaneced al tanto. Prometo seguir sorprendiéndoos durante los próximos 12 meses.

(NIKITA) KLOSEWOOD

Back again!!! Last weeks have been really really really busy and crazy… Attending to events here and there and shooting so many people I can’t even remember how many sessions I had. Names like Dani Divine, Shelly d’Inferno, Missa Blue, SaphirNoir (we’re baaaaaaaaack!!!!) and more… or the girl I am introducing you today: Nikita Klosewood.

If there was something I have regretted after having attended to the Euro Tattoo Convention in Lille was not having shot Nikita Klosewood there. I remember my good friend Tim asking me if I was going to shoot her show and even though in the beginning I said “yes” I changed my mind in the very last second. BAD MOVE. Her “Maleficient” show was fucking unbelievable, she looked even better than gorgeous and the performance was so hot and epic that, for instance, kept Shelly cheering and screaming all the time while she was filming it. I loved the show but I blamed myself for having made the wrong decision.

A couple of days later and to my surprise I got a message from someone who had fallen in love with my work with Shelly and asked me if I would be interested in shooting her new shows at Wasteland… and guess who she was: Nikita Klosewood !!!!. I was attending to Wasteland as usual with Shelly, so after having talked to her: “Shelly … you are NOT going to believe who has asked me to shoot her!!!!!!” Shelly said: «OMG, YOU MUST SHOOT HER!!!», so of course, I said “yeeeeeeeeeeees” to Nikita. We talked a lot, I told her how silly I had been in Lille and how much I did regret it, and our “partnership” began… She had 2 brand new shows for Wasteland and I had been the chosen one to shoot them.

Wasteland was EPIC as usual; Shelly, Dani and I shared backstage with Nikita and her partner Mike Garcia (super cool guy!!!!) and the evening was as busy as perfect. I shot Shelly’s & Maja Stina’s, Dani’s and Nikita’s shows, you will see some pics soon and I particularly fell in love with this one. It was taken right after she had finished her first show and between the crowd. The more I see it, the more I like it… Not only Nikita looked EPIC but also she was super super happy with the results when she saw my pictures: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! (Finally…)

Aaaahhh and before I finish… I LOOOOOOOOOVE her name: KLOSEWOOD… DEADLYWOOD… aren’t we cool??? Isn’t this a sign???

And by the way, THANKS to everyone at Wasteland, but especially to Rene & Mustafa for making things so easy. Thanks a lot.

NIKITA KLOSEWOOD (WASTELAND ’16) – Pic by Álex Pérez (2016)

Aquí estamos otra vez!!! Lás últimas semanas han sido real real real realmente liadas y alocadas… De eventos de aquí para allá y haciendo fotos a tanta gente que ya ni me acuerdo de cuantas sesiones tuve. Nombres como Dani Divine, Shelly d’Inferno, Missa Blue, SaphirNoir (ya estamos de vueeeeeeeeelta!!!!) y más… o la chica que os presento hoy: Nikita Klosewood.

Si hay algo de lo que me he arrepentido tras haber ido a la Euro Tattoo Convention de Lille fue de no haberle hecho fotos allí a Nikita Klosewood. Recuerdo que mi buen amigo  Tim me preguntó si le iba a hacer fotos a su show y aunque en un principio dije  “sí” cambié de parecer en el último segundo. MAL MAL MAL. Su actuación “Maleficient”  fue increible, ella estaba más que brutal y el espectáculo fue tan caliente y épico que por ejemplo mantuvo a Shelly animando y chillando a la vez que lo filmaba. Me encantó el show pero me maldije por haber tomado la decisión equivocada.

Un par de días después y para mi sorpresa recibí un mensaje de alguien que se había quedado enamorada de mi trabajo con  Shelly y me preguntaba si estaría interesado en hacer fotos de sus nuevos espectáculos en  Wasteland… y adivinad quien era: Nikita Klosewood !!!!. Yo iba a estar en Wasteland como es habitual con Shelly, así que después de comentarle: “Shelly … no te vas a creer quien quiere que le haga fotos!!!!!!” Shelly dijo: «DIOOOOOOOOS, TIENES QUE HACÉRSELAS!!!», así que naturalmente, le dije  “síííííííííííííííííííí ” a Nikita. Hablamos un montón, le conté lo tonto que había sido en Lille y cuanto me pesaba, y nuestra “colaboración” empezó… Tenía preparados 2 shows nuevos para Wasteland y yo había sido el elegido para hacer las fotos.

Wasteland fue BRUTAL como siempre; Shelly, Dani y yo compartimos camerino con Nikita y su pareja Mike Garcia (un tío de puta madre!!!!) y la noche fue tan ocupada como perfecta. Hice fotos de los shows de Shelly & Maja Stina, de Dani y de Nikita, pronto veréis algunas fotos, y personalmente me enamoré de ésta. Fue tomada justo al terminar su primera actuación y en el medio de la gente. Cuanto más la veo, más me gusta…No sólo Nikita sale TREMENDA sino que también se ha quedado súper contenta con los resultados al ver mis fotos: MISIÓN CUMPLIDA!!! (Por fin…)

Aaaahhh y antes de terminar… Me ENCAAAAAAAAAAAAAANTA su nombre: KLOSEWOOD… DEADLYWOOD… no somos molones??? No es esta una señal???

Y por cierto, GRACIAS a todos en Wasteland, pero en particular a Rene y Mustafa por hacer todo tan fácil. Muchísimas gracias.

Os veo pronto con material nuevo y más noticias… permaneced en antena!

«B-SIDES» WITH SAPHIRNOIR

One of my biggest achievements in 2015 has been to start working hand in hand with the number 1 alternative and gothic model SaphirNoir. There has been magic between us since the very first time we worked together and this partnership has been translated in many nice images, some of them you have already seen and many more you will continue seeing very soon.

I´ve spent these last weeks working on several sets we shot in the final part of 2015 and if there is something I have learnt is that is AMAZING to work with SaphirNoir, because we ALWAYS get breath taking images, however in the other hand it is also a bit sad there are soooooo many fantastic shots that will remain unseen, because there is not any point in showing pics and pics of the same set / outfit / location.

The picture I am showing you today was not part of any of SaphirNoir´s selections but it is an image I loved from the very first moment. In musical terms it could be considered as a “B-Side” and photographically speaking was bound to remain forgotten with hundreds of other unforgettable pics of this lady. It was taken in Montzen (Belgium) 2 months ago and it is just a random proof of the stuff we are dismissing, this time with a certain steampunkish scent.

Anyway, 2016 is about to arrive and SaphirNoir and I have plenty of magnificent projects in mind… this has just been the beginning.

Uno de mis mayores logros del 2015 ha sido empezar a trabajar mano a mano con la modelo alternativa y gótica número 1 del mundo mundial SaphirNoir. Ha habido magia entre nosotros desde el primer momento que trabajamos juntos y esta sociedad se ha traducido en muchas imágenes bellas, algunas ya las habéis visto y otras seguiréis viéndolas muy pronto.

He pasado las últimas semanas editando fotos de las sesiones que hicimos durante la recta final del 2015, y si hay algo que he aprendido es que es MAGNÍFICO trabajar con SaphirNoir, porque SIEMPRE conseguimos imágenes que cortan la respiración, aunque por otra parte es también un poco triste que haya tantísimas imágenes que no vayan a verse nunca, ya que no tiene sentido alguno el mostrar fotos y fotos de la misma sesión / modelito / localización.

La fotografía que os muestro hoy no formó parte de ninguna de las selecciones de SaphirNoir, pero es una imagen que me ha gustado desde el primer momento. En términos musicales podría ser considerada como una “Cara B” y fotográficamente hablando estaba destinada a permanecer olvidada con muchas otras fotos de esta dama. Fue tomada en Montzen (Bélgica) hace dos meses y no es más que una prueba aleatoria del material que estamos desechando, esta vez con un cierto toque steampunk.

En fin, 2016 está a puntito de llegar y SaphirNoir y yo tenemos un montón de proyectos fantásticos en mente… esto no ha hecho más que empezar.
