April 2011, I couldn´t refuse her invitation, so I escaped a few days to Madrid to spend some time with Vercrisa. Besides of enjoying our time eating candy together and playing with her dogs Dexter and Afri, I couldn´t miss the chance of taking some pics to one of the most shocking girls I know. Not only she is one of the three girls who appears twice in the exhibition, but also is the one who seduces you from the poster, inviting you to visit DEADLYWOOD.

This pic belongs to the first of the shootings we had while I was there. Vercrisa, as the fantastic make up artist she is, prepared a really cool make up, a nice hairstyle and ‘stole’  a leather jacket with a lot of history from his father´s wardrobe in order to shoot something very freakish,  Lady Gaga´s style… We put her bedroom upside down (completely upside down!!!!!), so we could use a crimson wall and to have a background as uniform as possible.

The pics with the leather jacket didn´t look very convincing, so… we took the jacket off!!!. We used a very cool chair she had, and we trusted in her big natural ability to pose and to kill with her look,  achieving some interesting things.

And as it´s not allowed only to work, before putting some order into her messed bedroom, we took advantage of the situation to enjoy some crazy ‘pressing catch’ and ‘smashing by mattress’ sessions, LOL!

Regarding to the processing of the pics, this one is probably one of the most processed, taking into account I don´t like a lot to abuse of it. As usual, I prepared a colour version which didn´t convince me 100%, so I added a texture to the background in order to make it more interesting and I finally decided to leave it with that tone, having the pic improved a lot.

From DEADLYWOOD I send a very big kiss to my beloved Vercrisa and I thank her once again for her big friendship and generosity.

Abril del 2011,  sin poder rechazar su invitación, me escapé unos cuantos días a Madrid a casa de Vercrisa. Además de pasar unos días comiendo chucherías con ella y jugando con sus perros Dexter y Afri, no podía dejar escapar la posibilidad de hacer fotos a una de las niñas más espectaculares que conozco y que, además de ser una de las tres chicas que aparecen por partida doble en la expo, os seduce desde el cartel para que visitéis DEADLYWOOD.

La foto pertenece a la primera de las sesiones que preparamos durante mi estancia allí. Vercrisa, como buena maquilladora y caracterizadora que es, preparó un maquillaje chulísimo, un peinado genial y ‘robó’  del armario de su padre una cazadora de cuero con mucha historia, para hacer algo estrambótico a lo Lady Gaga. Desmontamos su dormitorio poniendo todo partas arriba (muuuuuuuuuuy patas arriba), para aprovechar la pared granate y tener un fondo lo más homogéneo posible.

Las tomas con la cazadora no nos estaban convenciendo demasiado, así que cazadora fuera!!! Aprovechamos una silla muy chula que tenía por allí, su capacidad para poner posturitas y fulminar con la mirada y conseguimos alguna que otra cosilla interesante.

Y como no todo iba a ser trabajar, antes de devolver todo a su estado original (que remedio…) aprovechamos para una buena sesión de ‘pressing catch’ y ‘aplastamiento por colchón’, ja, ja, ja.

A nivel de retoque, tal vez esta sea una de las fotos más procesadas dentro de lo poco que me gusta hacerlo. Preparé una versión en color, que no me convencía lo suficiente, añadí una textura al fondo para hacerlo un poco más interesante, y finalmente opté por dejarla en ese tono que podéis ver, pasando la foto a ganar muchos enteros.

Desde DEADLYWOOD le envío un besazo enorme a mi adoradísima Vercrisa y una vez más le agradezco su gran amistad y generosidad.
