We go back a few months back in time today to see one of the very first pictures of my very first shoot ever with the loveliest Irresistible Iris. I have already talked about that day before so I will try to be brief.

I faced, after several months of admiration, one of the most amazing ladies in every sense I have ever met, so the photo shoot was special in many ways. I had finally got to shoot such a very gorgeous lady who later would become my super friend / spiritual guide (lol!)

We went to one of my favourite places where to shoot, Meesteres Madieanne‘s studio in the beautiful city of Amsterdam (whom I will always thank for her friendship, craziness and hospitality), and we promised ourselves we would rock together.

We started shooting this cute latex catsuit courtesy of Demask Amsterdam in the craziest and funniest toilet I have ever me. It’s worth visiting Madieanne’s studio just to see it… We shot there for a while to start warming our engines for the rest of the day, we took about 20 / 25 pics there (I must say it was not very easy because of the reduced space I had to crawl / climb) until I got exactly what I wanted.

What I really like about my pictures with Iris is that I think (and it is only my opinion – maybe you may think it’s just bullshit) that I’ve shown her in a very different way that other photographers, but keeping all her essence. I like in this particular picture she defying look… if looks could kill I would have died that February day, lol!

The edition was super simple… minor cleaning of the latex, re-framing perfectly the pic and adjusting the curves in order to run away from the original colours of the pic.

Once again, thanks everyone involved in the shoot… I remember that day as a very beautiful day and as the beginning of a true and lovely friendship with the loveliest people I’ve met in this country.

Pictures were NOT the most important thing that day. So thank you all.

Hoy retrocedemos unos meses en el tiempo para ver una de las primerísimas fotos de mi primerísima sesión con la encantadora Irresistible Iris. Ya he hablado anteriormente de este día, así que intentaré ser breve.

Tras varios meses de admiración, me enfrentaba a una de las damas más aucinantes en todos los aspectos que he conocido nunca, así que esta sesión fue especial en muchas formas. Por fin había conseguido hacerle fotos a quien más tarde se convertiría en mi súper amiga / guía espiritual (ja, ja, ja!)

Fuimos a uno de mis sitios favoritos para trabajar, el studio de Meesteres Madieanne (a quien siempre estaré agradecido por su amistad, locura y hospitalidad) en la bonita ciudad de Amsterdam y nos prometimos que la íbamos a liar juntos.

Empezamos a hacer fotos con este catsuit tan mono, cortesía de Demask Amsterdam en el servicio más loco y divertido que he visto nunca. Vale la pena visitar el studio de Madieanne sólo para verlo… Hicimos unas fotos allí para ir calentando motores, unas 20 / 25 (he de decir que no fue muy fácil debido al espacio tan reducido que tenía para arrastrarme / escalar) hasta que conseguí exactamente lo que quería.

Lo que verdaderamente me gusta de mis fotos con Iris (y es tan solo mi opinion, igual os puede parecer una tontería) es que la he mostrado de una forma muy diferente a otros fotógrafos pero manteniendo toda su esencia. Me encanta en particular de esta foto su mirada desafiante… si las miradas pudiesen matar ya estaría muerto desde aquel día de Febrero, ja ja ja!

La edición fue muy simple… una limpieza minima del latex, re-encuadrar perfectamente la imagen, y ajustar las curvas para huir de los colores originales de la foto.

De nuevo, muchísimas gracias a todos los involucrados en la sesión… recuerdo ese día como un día genial y como el nacimiento de una bella y verdadera amistad con la gente más encantadora que me he encontrado en este país.

Las fotos NO fueron lo más ímportante ese día. Así que muchas gracias a todos.

I started last week by posting (finally) a picture of my long awaited and epic session with Mari Kitten. I am so proud and happy with the results that I can’t help showing you something else today, so let’s start a new week with her again.

I’ve chosen this picture because (though it is very hard to say) it is possibly my favourite of this photoshoot. A Vampire Kitten showing her fangs with a KILLER expression while resting on a coffin in the living room… a fantastic combination for an EPIC shot. Or well, that’s what I think… I would really include this on in the list of my very best pictures ever.

Not too much to mention, should you like to know more, just read my last post about Mari…

Edition: colours and disimulate a little bit the flashlight reflection in the window. Shit happens, especially when shooting in a place where light can bounce almost everywhere. But I was not ready to lose such an awesome image of one of the craziest ladies (if not the craziest…) I’ve ever known.

Empecé la semana pasada publicando (al fin) una de las fotos de mi tan esperada y épica sesión con Mari Kitten. Estoy tan orgulloso y contento con los resultados que no puedo evitar mostraros also más hoy, así que empecemos una nueva semana de nuevo con ella.

He escogido esta foto porque (aunque es muy difícil de decir) es posiblemente mi favorita de la sesión. Una Kitten Vampira mostrando sus colmillos con una expresión MORTAL mientras reposa sobre un ataud en el salón… una combinación fantástica para una sesión ÉPICA. O bueno, eso es lo que me parece… incluiría esta imagen entre una de mis mejores.

No mucho más que decir, si queréis saber más, echad un vistazo a mi última entrada acerca de Mari…

Edición: los colores y disimular un poco el reflejo del flash en la ventana. Siempre pasa algo, especialmente en lugares donde la luz puede rebotar en cualquier parte… Pero no estaba dispuesto a perder una imagen así de una de las chicas más locas (sino la más) que conozco.

Espero que os guste y Mari, una vez más: un millón de gracias por tu perfección.

This one of the photo shoots that makes me blush the most. Not because of the shoot itself, which is one of my favourites ever with one of my fav girls ever, but for the fact it’s taking me ages to give the final results to my loveliest Mari Kitten. There have been several reasons and issues, like her leaving this country, me being stolen all my stuff, me being super busy… but finally, our fantastic stuff is finally going to see the light, and as usual I think it’s been worth the waiting.

I first heard of Mari Kitten thanks to a doubtful website I was supposed to be working for. She was the model who definitely caught all my attention there, so I really wanted to shoot her. Then I happened to meet her at several parties, liked her a lot, but was really overwhelmed by her attitude. Sooooooo much that I never ever dared to tell her a word. Some people like my good friend Marius Van Der Pol knew my admiration for this crazy lady and insisted on that we should work together… I can’t clearly remember how we finally got properly in touch and decided to work together… but one thing is for sure: destiny did GREAT taking her away from me and this country, because the world is in DANGER when we are together!!!

Shooting this lady was my birthday present… Just 2 days after a very boooooring day, Mari visited me early in the morning to prepare what should be a kick ass shoot. It was going to be her last shoot in her country before moving to the UK… so I was very happy I had that honour, but also feeling the pressure of doing a good job with someone I had been longing for so long.

The shoot place took place in a very amazing place in the very nice city of Schoonhoven. I can’t. I can’t remember Mari’s friend’s name to thank him, but his place was INCREDIBLE. All you see in the pics is REAL… you would probably be surprised there. I think the location was 200% perfect for her, she fitted there in a perfect way…

We shot some latex, some lingerie… and the craziness didn’t stop at any moment with all the crazy stuff we used. This pic is one of my favourites for 3 reasons: 1 – Mari, 2 – The Ballet Boots & 3 – The piano. I had always wanted to take a good picture with a lady and a piano, so what better than one of my fav models wearing ballet boots?? Definitely a dream.

Sometimes I get exactly the images I have in mind, and others I just take nice and good pics, but the results are not 100% what I was looking for. With Mari’s I must say I am 200% happy. I think they are pretty good and attention catchers… not to say she looks AWESOME.

The edition was relatively simple… this pic is 95% close to the original one… what really took me some time was to find the perfect aspect for it, and to keep the original atmosphere of the shoot. But all you see in the pic is 100% real… if you have a nice model and a nice location, the rest should be easy.
A couple of months ago I gave her the surprise of having one of the pics featured in a whole page of Massad Magazine… I just felt the need of somehow compensating the big waiting. Hope the next results really satisfy you my dear. Can’t wait to see you again… and as soon as I finish with these pics, time for new crazy kitty adventures together.

Esta es una de las sesiones que más colorado me ponen. No por la sesión en sí, que es una de mis favoritas con una de mis chicas favoritas, sino por el hecho de que me está llevando siglos darle los resultados finales a mi queridísima Mari Kitten. Han habido diversas razones y problemas, como su marcha del país, todo el material que me robaron, también el estar súper liado… pero por fin, nuestro fantástico material va a ver la luz y como suele suceder, la espera habrá merecido la pena.

La primera vez que escuché hablar de Mari Kitten fue gracias a una dudosa web para la que se supone que estaba trabajando. Ella fue la modelo que más me llamó la atención, así que tenía muchísimas ganas de hacerle fotos. Después de casualidad me la fui encontrando en varias fiestas, me encantó, pero su actitud me desbordaba. Taaaaaaaaaaanto que nunca me atreví a decirle ni pío. Alguna gente como mi buen amigo Marius Van Der Pol conocían mi admiración por ella y me insistían en que teniamos que trabajar juntos… No me acuerdo muy bien como al final conseguimos ponernos en contacto y decidimos trabajar juntos, creo que fue por el chat de facebook… pero una cosa es segura: el destino hizo un BUEN trabajo llevándosela lejos de mí y de este país, porque el mundo está en PELIGRO cuando nos juntamos!!!

Hacerle fotos a esta dama fue mi regalo de cumpleaños… Tan solo 2 días después de un dia muy aburrido, Mari me visitó tempranito por la mañana para lo que tendría que ser una sesión de puta madre. Iba a ser su última sesión en su país antes de mudarse a Inglaterra… así que estaba muy contento de tener el honor, pero también la presión, de hacer un trabajo a la altura de alguien a quien había deseado durante tanto tiempo.

La sesión tuvo lugar en una localización súper sorprendente en la bonita ciudad de Schoonhoven. No me acuerdo del nombre del amigo Mari para darle las gracias, pero su casa era INCREIBLE. Todo lo que véis en las fotos es REAL… probablemente os sorprenderías muchísimo allí. Creo que la localización era perfecta al 200% para ella, encajaba a la perfección.

Hicimos fotos con latex, lencería… y la locura no se detuvo en ningún momento con todas las cosas que utilizamos. Esta es una de mis fotos favoritas por 3 motivos : 1 – Mari, 2 – Las Ballet Boots y 3 – el Piano. Siempre quise hacer una buena foto de una chica con un piano, así que quién mejor que una de mis modelos favoritas con ballet boots?? Definivamente un sueño.

A veces consigo exactamente las imágenes que tengo en mente y otras me quedo solo en buenas fotos, pero los resultados no son al 100% lo que estaba buscando. Con las de Mari he de decir que estoy feliz al 200%. Creo que son bastante buenas y llamativas… sin ni que decir que ella sale TREMENDA.

La edición fue relativamente sencilla… la foto es fiel a la original en un 95%… lo que me llevó tiempo fue encontrar el aspecto perfecto para ell. Pero todo lo que veis en la imagen es real al 100% … cuando tienes una modelo buena y una buena localización, el resto debería de ser fácil.

Hace un par de meses la sorprendí con un una de sus fotos publicada a página entera en la revista Massad… Tenía que de algún modo compensarla por la gran espera. Espero que los resultados te satisfagan cielo, ya me tarda verte de nuevo… y tan pronto como terminemos con estas fotos, momento de mas locuras gatunas juntos.

DUTCH DAME & PUSSY GALORE

Today’s pic comes straight from a very successful shoot I had with the lovely Dutch Dame & Pussy Galore back in February… in fact it was my first shoot of 2014. For different reasons it took me a while (well, it’s taking me a while because I haven’t finished yet…) to edit all the stuff. Those are the “problems” arising when a shoot goes well and you get many good things.

I’ve talked several times about this shoot, so I am not going to bore you once again with the same words. Picture taken in a very nice penthouse in Amsterdam, the 2 models mentioned before, latex courtesy of Burning Heart Latex, nice make up by the lovely Inge Eichhorn, technical assistance & support by Ceno Bite & Bob Roos (no selfie fever that day… I’m sad), shooting for several hours… very looooong and exhausting day, but some nice results in the end.

Maybe this picture is not the most spectacular of the set, but I really like it… I can’t tell exactly the reason why… but it brings to my mind the idea of a magazine cover, or of a flyer, a card… I like it a lot.

Edition: getting rid of the latex wrinkles, fix minor imperfections… pffff… really boring stuff, not really interesting at all. Probably the most important thing I did was to increase the saturation, especially from Marilyn’s pic in the back. It was a little bit greyish… and the pic required it to be more “alive”.

La foto de hoy viene directamente de una sesión muy exitosa que tuve con las encantadoras Dutch Dame y Pussy Galore allá por febrero… de hecho fue la primera del 2014. Por distintos motivos, me ha llevado un poco (bien, me está llevando, porque todavía no he terminado…) editar todo el material. Esos son los “problemas” que sugen cuando una sesión va bien y consigues bastantes cosas buenas.

Ya he hablado varias veces de esta sesión, así que no voy a aburriros con las mismas palabras de siempre. Fotografía tomada en un ático de Amsterdam, las 2 modelos mencionadas anteriormente, látex cortesía de Burning Heart Latex, maquillaje de la encantadora Inge Eichhorn, asistencia técnica y apoyo moral por parte de Ceno Bite y Bob Roos (no hubo la fiebre del selfie ese día… estoy triste), currando unas cuaaaaantas horas… un día muy largo y agotador, pero con buenos resultados al final.
Puede que esta no sea la foto más espectacular del set, pero me gusta mucho… No sé muy bien por que… pero me trae a la cabeza la idea de una revista, o un flyer, o una tarjeta… me encanta.

Edición: deshacerme de pliegues del látex, arreglar imperfecciones menores… pfff… cosas realmente aburridas, nada interesantes. Tal vez lo más interesante fue subir la saturación, especialmente la del mural de Marilyn en el fondo. Era un tanto grisáceo y la foto pedía que estuviese un poco más “vivo”.

Finally!!! Here’s another pic of my unforgettable shoot with my dearest Fraulein Katzentanz a few months ago. To be honest, I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results… we’ve got a lot of fantastic shots that I CAN’T wait to show you… but I always wait for this lady to post them first, so that’s the reason for the waiting.

Taken in Essen on a rainy Sunday morning, after the Fetish Evolution’s Ball… Katzentanz was not especially excited about shooting outside because of the cold weather, but I was not particularly excited to shoot in the hotel either, so the photographer ALWAYS wins in the end. She trusted me, we headed to the woods and didn’t need much more because she was looking AWESOME in her brand new designed outfit (for me!!!). Magic happened from the very first pic I shot, and what followed right after were a wonderful collection of pics of this super lady. But unfortunately weather was not especially hot and it started to rain a little bit… that forced us to stop taking more pictures much sooner than expected. We shot probably for 20 minutes… though I would have been shooting for hours.

Fraulein Katzentanz had also created other outfit for the occasion and even though my intention was to continue shooting outside, she preferred to find a spot inside the hotel… and of course, since I am a nice guy, I had to accept. Not only because I take care of my models but also I follow my number 1 rule: DON’T EVER mess with a model who is taller than you and who is wearing KILLER heels.

The edition of the pics was mainly based on modifying the colours… and enhancing her pale make up. Vampire Katzentanz?. Maybe… I like to shoot in forests, but I usually think colours tend to be a little bit boring especially if the light is not the best. So everytime I edit this kind of pics I always try to desaturate, to modify the curves, etc… everything to make it look a little bit different than a pic that could have gone out straight out of your phone. It’s always a challenge. For your info, this is the same place where I also shot Nicole del Santo and Naomi Morphine, and the aspect of the pics is completely different…. Additionally in this particular pic, I had to get rid of some nasty wrinkles in the latex that were really driving me crazy… so goodbye!!!

That’s all for the moment… We have some pics which I consider to be of my best ever, probably because I wanted to give my very best with someone I had been wishing to shoot for so long. It looks like I passed the test, so this UNIQUE lady and I will continue rocking together for so long.

FRAULEIN KATZENTANZ – Pic By Álex Pérez (2014)

Por fin!!! Aquí tenéis otra foto de mi sesión inolvidable con mi queridísima Fraulein Katzentanz hace unos meses. A decir verdad, no podría estar más contento con los resultados… tenemos un montón de fotos fantásticas que me MUERO por enseñaros … pero siempre espero a que ella las vaya publicando primero, así que ese es el motivo de la espera.

Hecha en Essen durante una mañana lluviosa de domingo, despúes de la Fetish Evolution Ball… A Katzentanz no le excitaba especialmente la idea de hacer fotos en exteriores principalmente por el tiempo que hacía, pero yo tampoco estaba muy entusiasmado de hacerlas en el hotel, así que al final el fotógrafo SIEMPRE gana. Me hizo caso, nos fuimos al bosque y no necesitamos mucho más porque estaba PRECIOSA en su conjunto recien diseñado (para mí!!!). La magia existió desde el primer disparo y lo que siguió a continuación fue una colección fantástica de fotografías de esta señorita. Pero desafortunadamente no hacía mucho calor y empezó a llover un poco… lo que nos obligó a parar mucho antes de lo que yo hubiese deseado. Hicimos fotos durante 20 minutos como mucho… aunque podría haber estado durante horas.

Fraulein Katzentanz había creado otro conjunto para la ocasión y aunque mi idea era continuar fuera, prefirió que buscásemos algún lugar dentro del hotel… y por supuesto, ya que soy un tío majo, tuve que aceptar. No solo porque cuido a mis modelos, sino porque siempre sigo mi regla número 1: NUNCA lleves la contraria a una modelo que es más alta que tú y lleva TACONAZOS.

El procesado de estas fotos se basó principalmente en modificar los colores… y en enfatizar su maquillaje tan pálido.. Vampira Katzentanz? Quizás… Me gusta hacer fotos en bosques, pero normalmente los colores me parecen un poco aburridos si la luz no es la deseada. Por eso, siempre que edito este tipo de fotos siempre trato de desaturarlas, modificar las curvas, etc… todo para que sean un poco diferentes a una foto que podrías haber sacado con el móvil. Siempre es un reto. Para vuestra información, ese es el mismo lugar donde le hice fotos a Nicole del Santo y a Naomi Morphine, y el aspecto de las fotos es completamente diferente… Adicionalmente en esta foto en particular, tuve que deshacerme de unas cuantas arrugas bastante molestas en el látex que me estaban volviendo loco… así que adios!!!

Esto es todo por el momento… Tenemos algunas imágenes que me parecen de lo mejor que he hecho, posiblemente porque quería dar lo mejor de mí con alguien a quien había estado deseando hacer fotos durante mucho tiempo. Creo que aprobé el examen, así que esta dama tan ÚNICA y yo seguiremos liándola juntos durante mucho tiempo.

Writing about Onna is never easy, it becomes a big challenge trying to say how much I adore her without forgetting any single piece of the admiration every time. What can I say I haven’t said before??? Absolutely NOTHING.

Elegant, lovely, pretty, grateful, majestic… I couldn’t be any happier of having her in my most intimate circle of friends I adore to shoot. I have commented many times our shoots are highly peculiar… we barely have ANY time and we ALWAYS get kick ass pics.

It was no different this time… and all because I am a DISASTER. In fact the story was EXACTLY the same than first time we shot together: I was shooting my all-time German love Sugarfairy and she’s so lovely an addictive that time flew… and Onna was waiting for me… with not a lot of time…big trooooouble… First time we worked together I had 10 minutes, but this time I barely had them to prepare everything and take some nice pics, blitzkrieg shoot again!!!!.

So we rushed to my fav place at Hotel Bredeney (no, for all of you thinking it was a super luxurious hotel you were completely wrong…) which is on the top floor close to the elevator. This is a small secret, but that’s the place where I also took Naomi Morphine’s elevator pics, Bibiana Atada’s pics last year, and only 2 meters away from the stairs I also shot Sugarfairy and Fraulein Katzentanz. Same spot very different results!!!!.

We shot for approximately 5 / 6 minutes, took not even 25 pics… and immediately we saw we had very very very very great results. In fact, what you see is not very different from the original pic. Just very very slight changes in the colours and some minor latex cleaning.

So dearest Onna, once again for your paaaaaaaaaatience, your magic and your beautiful friendship… no need to say we HAVE A DATE soon and you’ll add your charm and magic to my pics once again.

Escribir acerca de Onna nunca es fácil, decir cuanto la adoro sin olvidar ni un gramo de la admiración que siento por ella se convierte en un gran reto. Qué puedo decir acerca de ella que no haya dicho ya??? NADA de NADA.

Elegante, encantadora, guapa, agradecida, majestuosa… No podría estar más contento de tenerla en mi más intimo círculo de amigas a las que adoro fotografiar. Ya he comentado muchas veces que nuestras sesiones son altamente peculiares … APENAS disponemos de tiempo y SIEMPRE conseguimos unas fotos de puta madre.

Esta vez no fue diferente… y todo porque soy un DESASTRE. De hecho la historia fue EXACTAMENTE la misma que la primera vez que trabajamos juntos: le estaba haciendo fotos a mi gran amor alemán Sugarfairy y es tan encantadora y adictiva, que el tiempo pasó volando… y Onna estaba esperando por mí… sin demasiado tiempo… probleeeeeeemas… La primera vez que hicimos fotos tuvimos solo 10 minutos, pero esta vez no tuve ni eso para preparar todo y hacer unas fotos chulas, sesión blitzkrieg otra vez!!!!

Nos apresuramos a mi lugar favorito del Hotel Bredeney (no, para todos los que os pensábais que se trataba de un hotel lujoso, estábais totalmente equivocados …) que es el piso de arriba, cerca del ascensor. Este es un secretillo, pero es donde también hice las fotos del ascensor de Naomi Morphine, las del ano pasado de Bibiana Atada y a solo 2 metros de las escaleras donde también fotografié a Sugarfairy y a Fraulein Katzentanz. Mismo resultado… resultados muy diferentes!!!!.

Trabajamos durante 5 / 6 minutos, no llegamos ni a 25 fotos… e imediatamente vimos que teníamos resultados muy muy muy muy buenos. De hecho, lo que veis no es muy diferente a la foto original. Solamente unas ligerísimas alteraciones en el color y arreglar cuatro cosillas en el látex.

Así que queridísima Onna, una vez más muchas gracias por tu paciencia, tu magia y tu amistad… ni que decir que TENEMOS UNA CITA pronto y que volverás a llenar mis fotos con de magia y encanto.

I was wasting my time on facebook yesterday when I happened to notice my sister Sarah had changed her profile pic for a silly preview of a shoot we had done 10 months ago. That immediately triggered my senses “oh I really love those pics… they are so cuuuuuuuuuute… time to edit them!!!”

That happens quite often to me, I take the pics when the model and I can arrange a date, but DOES NOT mean at all I am going to work on them as soon as I get home. I normally can’t tell when I am going to edit them, because it only happens when something tells me it is the right moment. I must really feel like doing it. That’s why I’ve had (don’t panic!) sets and sets “lost” (but NOT forgotten) in my hard drives dated for 1, 2, 3 and even 4 years that wait for their moment to see the light… Sorry, but that’s me, though it’s usually worth the waiting.

I shot Sarah last year when I went back to my country on holidays. I spent a week with her in Madrid, and even though the idea was taking some nice gothic pics (she’s sooooooooooo infernally pretty!!!!), what we did in the end was completely different. That means I’m not giving up until I get what I want from her, LOL!

It usually happens that the “silliest” and “simplest” things are the better. And these shots are a good proof… A bed, normal clothing, no make up… just Sarah and her beauty. The results are here for you to see… and I really like them because I can really recognize 200% how she is in the pics. NO tricks

For the edition, I must say this is one of the very few times I didn’t care about fixing the skin imperfections, spots, bags under the eyes… absolutely NOTHING. I consider these pics – and Sarah in particular – are beautiful enough, they don’t need any trick, I like them raw. I couldn’t be any prouder of them.

All I did was adding some grain (highly unlikely in my colour pics), de-saturating a little bit, and modifying the curves just a little bit in order to get the appearance they have. Summarizing: no more than 15 min for pics that have been “lost” for 10 months. Alex at his best…

And I also decided to spend 5 min more per pic in order to create some black & white versions that I really adore… in fact, I’m showing you the colour ones, but those I consider the “official” are the black & white ones. What can I say? That’s me…

Estaba perdiendo el tiempo ayer en facebook cuando de casualidad vi que mi hermana Sarah había cambiado su foto de perfil por una preview tonta de una sesión que hicimos hace 10 meses. Eso disparó inmediatamente mis sentidos “oh esas fotos me encantan… son tan preciosas … hay que editarlas!!!”

Eso suele sucederme muy a menudo, hago las fotos cuando puedo quedar con la modelo, pero eso NO quiere decir que me vaya a poner a trabajar en ellas al llegar a casa. Normalmente no puedo decir cuando voy a hacerlo, porque solo sucede cuando algo me indica que es el momento adecuado. Tiene que apetecerme. Esa es la razón por la cual (que no cunda el pánico!) tengo sesiones y sesiones “perdidas” (pero NO olvidadas) en mis discos de hace 1, 2, 3 y hasta 4 anos, que todavía esperan su momento de ver la luz … Lo siento, pero soy así, aunque normalmente la espera merece la pena.

Le hice fotos a Sarah cuando volví a mi país por vacaciones. Pasé una semana con ella en Madrid, y aunque la idea era hacer algo gótico (es tan infernalmente bella!!!!), lo que hicimos fue completamente diferente. Eso quiere decir que no me voy a rendir hasta que consiga lo que quiero de ella, ja ja ja!.

Generalmente sucede que lo más “tonto” y “sencillo” es lo mejor. Y estas fotos son buena prueba de ello … Una cama, ropa de lo más normal, nada de maquillaje… sólamente Sarah y su belleza. Los resultados están aquí para que los veáis… y me gustan de verdad porque puedo reconocerla al 200% en estas imágenes. NADA de trucos.

Con respecto a la edición, he de decir que es una de las pocas veces que no me he molestado en arreglar las imperfecciones de la piel, granos, ojeras… NADA de NADA. Considero que las tomas -y Sarah en particular – son lo suficientemente bellas, no necesitan ningún truco, me gustan crudas. No podría estar más orgulloso de ellas.

Todo lo que hice fue anadir un poco de grano (nada común en mis fotos en color), desaturar un poco y modificar las curvas para llegar a la apariencia que tienen. Resumiendo: no más de 15 min para unas fotos que han estado “perdidas” durante 10 meses. Álex en su salsa…

Y también decidí pasar 5 minutos más con cada una para crear versiones en blanco y negro que me encantan de verdad… De hecho, os muestro las de color, pero las que yo considero como “oficiales” son las de blanco y negro. Qué puedo decir? Soy yo…

Some of you can probably remember my cover / article in Massad’s latest issue (you can still purchase it on www.massad.nl if you have missed it). The picture I am showing you is one of those who didn’t finally make it in the article, but that I like a lot, so here it is.

It features my lovely sister Dutch Dame in a stunning Inner Sanctum latex outfit and it was taken during a totally improvised shoot after the Dominatrix rehearsals back in March. I had just finished shooting Onna Sakura and just before we went home to rest and eat something, we decided to take some shots.
I’ve mentioned many times it is not easy to find a nice and not photographically used spot where Dominatrix takes place, but once again, I think we did a good job. That completely empty wardrobe had caught my attention for my Instagram pictures (you can follow me here) because I thought it was really cool and curious, so I decided it would be even nicer with Didi’s beauty shining all around.

We shot there for a while and if you like this pic, pay attention to her site www.dutchdame.com because there will be a HOT update quite soon. Let’s say this is all the facebook friendly we can be (you know what I mean, don’t you?).

It’s not worth talking about the edition… I’ve just modified the colours of the original shot a little bit with the curves and that’s all. Some minor cleaning of the latex too as usual. But no Dutch Dames have been modified during this movie.

Algunos de vosotros os acordaréis probablemente de my portada / artículo en el ultimo número de Massad (aun podéis haceros con la revista en www.massad.nl si os la habéis perdido). La foto de hoy es una de las que al final no llegaron a ser publicadas, pero que me encanta, así que aquí está.

En ella aparece mi súper hermana Dutch Dame en un fantástico vestido de látex de Inner Sanctum y fue sacada durante una sesión totalmente improvisada despúes de los ensayos de Dominatrix allá por Marzo. Había terminado de hacerle fotos a Onna Sakura y justo antes de marcharnos a casa a descansar y comer algo, decidimos hacer algo.

Ya he comentado varias veces que no es nada fácil encontrar un sitio decente y fotográficamente no utilizado en donde se celebra Dominatrix, pero una vez más, creo que hicimos un buen trabajo. Ese guardarropas completamente vacío me había llamado la atención para mis fotos de Instagram (podéis seguirme aquí) porme que pareció muy guay y curioso, así que decidí que estaría todavía mucho major con le belleza de Didi brillando por todas partes.

Estivimos haciendo fotos un rato así que si os gusta ésta, estad atentos a su web www.dutchdame.com porque habrá una actualización muy CALIENTE dentro de poco. Digamos que esta foto es de lo poco apto para facebook que podemos mostrar (ya sabéis a lo que me refiero, no?).

No merece mucho la pena hablar de la edición… solamente modifiqué un poco los colores originales con las curvas y eso fue todo. Y también limpié un poco el látex como es habitual. Pero ninguna Dutch Dame ha sido modificada durante el rodaje de esta película.

Love bleeds, love lives, love dies… it’s no surprise.

Have you ever seen a siren? Have you ever seen a DEAD siren? I was lucky to shoot two of them not so long ago, but the shoot turned out to be a bit sad because what was meant to be a crazy party ended in some kind of funeral.

What you see is a cute result of an unforgettable shoot at Meesteres Madieanne’s Studio in Amsterdam. Two beautiful sirens having too much evil fun in the water, until my dearest Naomi Morphine finally deceased in the arms of Meesteres Madieanne. It was not easy to get rid of her through the sink!

This shoot was too much fun, too much craziness going on, and a photographer in a “grrrrrrrrllllllll…. we are here to TAKE pics” bad mood. The ladies looked awesome dressed like sirens, weather was really good, wine seemed to be tasty and girls just wanted to have fun. I think they didn’t need more than just one minute to destroy one hour of make-up, I hadn’t even turned my camera on… BIG GRRRRLLLL!!!!!

Anyway, it was a crazy, funny and awesome day and I am very satisfied with the results…. especially because they are pretty different to what I usually do, but with my style shining everywhere. This is one of the pictures that I don’t take every single day, but that when it appears people can easily recognize it’s mine.
I really like the image for many reasons… you can find pure evil in Meesteres Madieanne’s face, sweetness in Naomi’s, sadness because of the whole scene, romanticism, grief, darkness… and it will probably take you a while to realize what’s going on. Conceptual photography… oh my God, I’ve grown older!!!

The edition comes from Erik’s very first and raw idea (and Naomi’s love for desaturation) when we were checking the stuff in the computer. Basically we decreased drastically the saturation and saw it might be interesting. No need to say this time I did many many things to the image until I got this final result. Cleaning the scene, making sure their outfits looked great, trying to create the right atmosphere… The final result is not very distant from the original image, though it took me a while to achieve what I had in mind.

Many many thanks to everyone involved in this crazy image: Meesteres Madieanne, for the location, outfits, craziness… Naomi Morphine for the make-up, fun, dinner… and my super colleague, assistant, filmmaker Erik for creating that stunning scenario for me. My most sincere thanks to all of you, hope you like the result.

El amor sangra, el amor vive, el amor muere… no es sorpresa alguna.

Habéis visto alguna vez una sirena?? Habéis visto alguna vez una sirena MUERTA?. Tuve la suerte de hacerle fotos a dos no hace mucho, pero la sesión terminó de una forma un tanto triste, porque lo que supuestamente iba a ser una fiesta terminó convirtiéndose en un funeral.

Lo que véis es el resultado tan cuqui de una sesión inolvidable en el Estudio de Meesteres Madieanne en Amsterdam… Dos bellas sirenas pasándoselo demasiado de muerte en el agua, hasta que mi amadísima Naomi Morphine finalmente pereció en los brazos de Meesteres Madieanne. No fue nada fácil deshacerse de ella por el desague!

Esta sesión fue muy divertida, demasiada locura en todo momento y un fotógrafo en modo “grrrrllllll… estamos aquí para HACER fotos” encabronado. Las damas estaban preciosas convertidas en sirenas, hacía muy buen tiempo, el vino parece que estaba bueno y las chicas solo querían pasarlo bien. Creo que no necesitaron más de 1 minuto para cargarse 1 hora de maquillaje. No había ni encendido la cámara … GRRRRLLLL!!!!!

Ok, fue un día muy loco, divertido y estoy muy satisfecho con los resultados …. Especialmente porque son muy diferentes a lo que hago normalmente, aunque están impregnados de mi estilo por todas parte. Esta no es una foto que haga todos los días, pero que cuando sale a escena la gente puede reconocer fácilmente que es mía.

Me gusta mucho por muchos motivos… podéis encontrar pura maldad en la cara de Meesteres Madieanne, dulzura en la cara de Naomi, tristeza por la escena en general, romanticismo, dolor, oscuridad… y probablemente os lleve un cierto tiempo daros cuenta de lo que está sucediendo. Fotografía Conceptual… oh Dios mío, me he hecho mayorr!!

La edición parte de una muy primera y cruda idea que tuvo Erik (y del amor de Naomi por la desaturación) cuando estábamos revisando el material en el ordenador. Básicamente bajamos la drásticamente la saturación y vimos que podría ser interesante. No hace falta decir que esta vez sí que tuve que hacerle bástantes cosas a la imagen hasta llegar al resultado final. Limpiar la escena, asegurarme de que los vestidos salían bien, recrear la atmósfera adecuada… El resultado final no dista demasiado de la imagen original, aunque sí que me llevó algún tiempo llegar a conseguir lo que tenía en mente.

Muchísimas gracias a todos los que participaron en esta locura de imagen: Meesteres Madieanne, por la localización, vestidos, locura… Naomi Morphine por el maquillaje, diversion y la cena…y a mi súper colega, ayudante y cámara Erik por haber creado todo ese escenario tan alucinante para mí. Mis más sinceras gracias, espero que os guste el resultado.
