Fetish Evolution 2014 was, photographically speaking, a very nice experience. I met people I hadn’t seen for a while, and even though it was not the intention, I shot some friends who for the only fact of being friends, I can NEVER say NO.

Once again, I was lucky to enjoy 2 of my German loves, they always sweet Sugarfairy and the always elegant Onna Sakura… As usual, everything highly improvised and in Onna’s case, in only a few minutes (my fault again…), but we did great things. I would especially like to congratulate these amazing ladies for having won respectively the 3rd and 2nd International Fetish Award. Well done!

And I must be extremely grateful to Onna, because my last pictures with her taken at Dominatrix caught the attention of a suuuuuuuuuuupercraaaaaaaazy lady that I had already noticed because of her nice look, but that as usual, I was extremely shy to talk to. She is another German girl, the funny Nicole Del Santo, aka Electra X. You must never refuse to shoot a Bruce Dickinson fan, so we decided to “make babies in the woods” on Sunday morning… I was highly impressed by how funny, crazy and grateful she was after an epic shoot together. Thanks a lot Nicole… you really got me!.

But the main reason I decided to attend to Fetish Evolution this year was because, to my SURPRISE, I got a message about 1 month ago from a girl who had left me frozen, breathless and speechless there exactly one year before. I found out who she was (private investigator Álex – he, he, he), started to follow her work, and soon she became some kind of fetish for me and the only girl I’d kill to shoot with. But I saw her so stunning that I never dared to tell anything. I was even happy to have an article published in the same issue of a magazine where she also appeared! Soooooo, I finally did shoot one of the most amazing models I have ever seen, if not the most, the UNIQUE Fräulein Katzentanz. Just like in Nicole’s case I couldn’t believe when she told me I was the only photographer she had thought of working with this year because she found my pics very special…

It was soooo funny!!! It really made me smile she adored me so much… if only could she know how much I ADORE her!!!. Probably 1 million times more. We shot 2 outfits of her new amaaaaazing latex collection she had designed especially for me. I was really speechless when she told me. I was deeply impressed by the sweetness behind her extremely tough appearance. Just like with Nicole, welcome to my family Fräulein, you also got me!!! And you’ve got a Spanish teacher now… vamos a Estepona! 🙂

But that was not all… I finally started in Essen my cooperation with Naomi Morphine. We are starting a project together which will hopefully turn to be something really shocking. Time will tell, for the moment, we can show you a picture that, of course, I took and she has edited.

And before finishing, I would also like to mention some IMPORTANT people I would have liked to work with, like the sweetest Verity Vian, Kristina Deetox, Lexy Electric and the FUCKING GREATEST BLONDE AMBITION EVER Kayla Lael. I’ll miss you every day of the year until you are back again… but all good things take some time sweetie. Luv u!

Fetish Evolution 2014 fue, fotográficamente hablando, una experiencia muy buena. Me encontré con gente a la que hacía tiempo que no veía y aunque no era la intención, le hice fotos a algunas amigas que por el mero hecho de ser amigas, NUNCA se les puede decir NO.

De nuevo, tuve la suerte de disfrutar de mis dos amores alemanes, la siempre dulce Sugarfairy y la siempre elegante Onna Sakura… Como siempre, todo altamente improvisado y en el caso de Onna, en sólo unos minutos (otra vez por mi culpa). Pero hicimos cosas muy buenas. Me gustaría felicitar a estas dos bellezas por su 3er y 2o puesto respectivamente en el International Fetish Award. Bien hecho!

Y tengo que estar muy agradecido a Onna, porque las últimas fotos que le hice en Dominatrix llamaron la atención de una súper looooooooooooooooca en la cual ya me había fijado por su look tan auténtico, pero como siempre, fui extremadamente tímido para hablar con ella. Es otra alemana, la divertida Nicole Del Santo, alias Electra X. Nunca debes rechazar trabajar con una fan de Bruce Dickinson, así que decidimos “hacer hijos en el bosque” el Domingo por la mañana… Me quedé muy impresionado por lo graciosa, loca y divertida que fue después de una sesión épica. Muchas gracias Nicole… me has ganado!.

Pero la razón principal por la cual decidí ir a Fetish Evolution este año fue porque, para mi SORPRESA, recibí un mensaje de una chica que exactamente allí hace un año, me había dejado helado, sin respiración y sin palabras. Me enteré de quien era (detective Álex – ja, ja, ja), comencé a seguir su trabajo y pronto se convirtió en una especie de fetiche para mí, y la única chica por la que mataría por hacerle fotos. Pero siempre la había visto tan impresionante que nunca me atreví realmente a proponerle nada. Si hasta estuve contento de aparecer en el mismo número de una revista en la que también aparecía ella! Así queeeeeeeeee, al final le hice fotos a una de las modelos más impresionantes que he visto, sino la que más, la ÚNICA Fräulein Katzentanz. Al igual que en el caso de Nicole no daba crédito cuando me decía que era el único fotógrafo con el que había decidido trabajar este año porque encontraba mis fotografías muy especiales.

Fue tan gracioso!!! La verdad es que me hizo sonreír que me adorase tanto… si tuviese la más mínima idea de cuánto la ADORO yo!!! Probablemente 1 millón de veces más. Hicimos fotos con dos conjuntos que había diseñado especialmente para mí. Me quedé sin palabras cuando me lo contó y profundamente impresionado por la dulzura que hay tras su imagen tan poderosa. Al igual que Nicole, bienvenida a mi familia Fräulein, tú también me has ganado!!! Y ahora tienes profesor de castellano…vamos a Estepona! 🙂

Pero eso no fue todo… Por fin comenzó en Essen mi colaboración con Naomi Morphine. Estamos empezando un proyecto conjunto que esperamos se convierta en algo realmente impactante. Pero el tiempo lo dirá, de momento podemos mostraros una foto que, naturalmente, hice yo y queella ha editado.

Y antes de terminar, me gustaría mencionar a algunas personas IMPORTANTES con las que me hubiese gustado pasar más tiempo y trabajar, como la superdulce Verity Vian, Kristina Deetox, Lexy Electric y la MÁS GRANDE AMBICIÓN RUBIA DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS Kayla Lael. Te echaré de menos cada día del año hasta que vuelvas otra vez… pero todas las cosas buenas necesitan tiempo cari. Luv u!

I would like to inform everyone attending to the FETISH EVOLUTION WEEKEND in Essen, Germany next weekend that I am NOT taking part as one of the official photographers of the event.

That means I am not there to take pictures. I´m just attending with a girlfriend and other friends to party, some of them I can barely meet them at any other time of the year, so it is a good reason to shoot them those days, but just out of the event.

I am really proud and happy to receive so many requests and proposals for shooting, but I CAN´T really guarantee I am able to do it.

Should you be interested in shooting yet, plese send me a message with your availability and location and we´ll see what we can do, though probably the problem will be my time.

ON A DAY LIKE TODAY: 5 YEARS!!!!!

April 10th 2009.

That’s the day I had my first photo-shoot ever. That means today it’s my 5th anniversary as ‘someone who takes pictures’… People usually ask me when I started shooting, and here you have the answer: on a day like today EXACTLY 5 years ago.

It happened in Athens, with two lovely Ukrainian girls, one of them was not only to become one of the persons I love and admire the most, but also the most talented and stunning artist in Greece in my opinion: Wild Rose. Take a while to visit her website because you will never regret it: ‘The Wild Rose’s Mesmerizing Stories’.

I’ve talked a few times about this shoot, so I’m not going to do it again. But I can tell you after only 3 minutes we were kicked out from the legendary Acropolis because it was a ‘sacred place, not a place to shoot that type of sexy girls…’ RESPEEEEEEEECT!!! Wonderful start!!!. Of course, the shoot continued in the surrounding areas and I must admit we did a good job. Looking at the pics nowadays, most of my photographic skills didn’t exist at all by that time, and my skills editing pics SUCKED 999% but I think I ‘had the eye’. Some of them can be probably found somewhere online yet, though Nina recommended me to remove them a couple of years ago because they were not so good as the rest of my stuff. I should re-edit properly some of them someday… I think they deserve it.

Looking back what I’ve done and become in this first 5 years I can say I am very proud and happy. Even though I’ve never had the intention of becoming a ‘famous’ photographer it is very nice to see a guy from a veeeeeeery small village of about 900 inhabitants, surrounded by nature, far away from big cities, parties, latex… and starting from the scratch, knowing NOTHING about photography, has managed to catch the attention of people all around the globe. I am always very surprised to receive messages from people everywhere who would like me to shoot them, even people I have always admired and dreamed of like Rubberdoll or Ruby Luster just to mention a couple of names…. It must be a dream.

But not everything’s been a bed of roses. I’ve also had serious fights, especially with some ‘super photographers’ (according to themselves), people who didn’t even know me and whom I didn’t know… I’ve never understood the reasons quite well, but most of the times they felt threatened (????) by a guy without any experience who was coming from out of nowhere and who was supposed to be their ‘competitor.’ I’ve had very serious issues with some of my ‘fans’. I can even remember one who made an appointment with me to give me ‘what I deserved’ in the very centre of Madrid but who was to brave not to attend in the very last moment… Of course, Álex was there.

MODELS: I’m super thankful to everyone who has ever helped and trusted me… I’ve shot many girls, some of them proved to be people to forget, but most of them were really nice and grateful, and a very small amount became real real real close FRIENDS. So I can say it hasn’t been that bad, even though nobody can escape from making some mistakes. I find it really funny when people say things to me like ‘Alex, I need some of your girls…’, ‘Alex, why don’t you come with your girls?’, ‘Alex, your girls are the most beautiful ever…’ . It makes me also feel like a pimp!!! LOL!

SECRETS: I think the only secrets are to work hard, to study, and to do what you really like and believing in it, of course taking your time to decide the people you have to shoot. I am very picky and selective with the people I work with… and it’s become even worse with time. I travelled all around Spain in the first 3 years looking for the type of girls I needed and soon I made a name, became ‘known’, press, magazines, exhibitions, DEADLYWOOD, contests, tv… From being shooting my only model and friend Merce to shoot the greatest (and my fav!) tv star like ‘El Gran Wyoming’. Crazy!

It might sound arrogant, but it has not been difficult. People often say I’ve got a very personal and particular style, my pics are easily recognizable (I don’t even need to sign my pics sometimes) so I guess I only filled a gap that was missing in the Spanish photographic scene. Though the real thing I’ve always wanted to stay more like an ‘underground’ photographer reserved to the ones who can truly love and appreciate my style. That’s been mainly one of the reasons for escaping / deleted / abandoned my profiles from most of the sites I was like Fotoplatino (OMF!), ModelMayhem, Suicide Girls, TattooTrash, etc… and magazines I used to work for (Bedeseme, Bizarre, etc… ). Let’s keep it asocial. In fact, I haven’t finished my web /upload a single pic to it after 3 years!I’ve been tempted to stop shooting many times lately, so let’s see what happens. However, once thing is for sure, my intention is to cut down drastically the number of photo-shoots. It’s always been like that, but it will be even more. I’ve got my very small group of people I love to shoot and I will continue enjoying photography and good moments with them. You know perfectly who you are, so don’t worry, you’ll never get rid of me…

And it’s high to focus all my time and attention in my new super model AkemiLoveDoll. You’ll hear about her a lot very soon, if you haven’t yet…

And to finish, as birthday present, a REAL rarity… my 1st ‘serious’ picture ever (featuring my sister and our neighbour´s cute daughter). I took it and I won a photographic contest!!!

Ese fue el día que hice mi primera sesión. Lo que quiere decir que hoy hace 5 años que soy “alguien que hace fotos”… La gente me suele preguntar cuando empecé, así que aquí tenéis la respuesta: tal día como hoy, hace EXACTAMENTE 5 años.

Sucedió en Atenas, con dos cielos Ucranianas, una de las cuales no solo se convertiría en una de las personas que más quiero y admiro, sino que también, en mi opinión, en la artista con más talento de Grecia: Wild Rose. Echadle un vistazo a su página web porque no os vais a arrepentir: ”The Wild Rose’s Mesmerizing Stories«.

Ya he hablado acerca de esa sesión alguna otra vez, así que no me voy a repetir. Solamente deciros que en solo 3 minutos nos largaron de la legendaria Acrópolis porque era un “lugar sagrado, no un lugar para hacer fotos a chicas sexys…” RESPEEEEEEEECT!!! Buen comienzo!!!. Por supuesto, la sesión continuó en sus alrededores y he de admitir que hicimos un buen trabajo. Al ver esas fotos a día de hoy, está claro que la mayor parte de mis virtudes fotográficas aun no existían y mis conocimientos de edición eran HORRIBLES al 999%, aunque creo que “tenía el ojo”. Algunas de ellas todavía pueden encontrarse probablemente online, aunque Nina me recomendó hace un par de años que las eliminase porque no estaban al mismo nivel que el resto de mi material. Debería re-editarlas como Dios manda uno de estos días… Creo que se lo merecen.

Echando un vistazo a lo que he hecho durante estos 5 primeros años puedo decir que estoy muy contento. Aunque nunca he tenido la intención de convertirme en un fotógrafo “famoso” es muy reconfortante ver como un tío de un pueblo muuuuuuuuuuuy pequeno de unos 900 habitantes, rodeado de la naturaleza, lejos de las grandes ciudades, las fiestas, el látex… y partiendo de cero, sin saber NADA de fotografía, ha conseguido captar la atención de personas de todo el planeta. Siempre me sorprende recibir mensajes de gente de todas partes diciendo que les gustaría que les hiciese fotos, incluso de personajes a la que siempre he adorado y soñado como Rubberdoll o Ruby Luster, por mencionar un par de nombres…. Debe ser un sueño.

Pero no todo ha sido una cama de rosas. He tenido problemas serios, especialmente con algunos ”súper fotógraf@s” (según ellos), gente que nisiquiera me conocen o a los que ni siquiera conocía… Nunca llegué a comprender muy bien las razones, pero solía ser que se sentían amenazad@s (????) por un tío sin experiencia que aparecía de la nada y se había convertido en su competidor.” He tenido ciertos incidentes con mis “fans”. Me acuerdo hasta de uno que se citó conmigo en el centro de Madrid para “darme lo que merecía”, pero que fue lo suficientemente valiente como para no presentarse en el ultimo momento… Por supuesto, Álex estaba allí.

MODELOS: Estoy súper agradecido a todas las que me han ayudado y confiado en mí … He hecho fotos a muchísimas, algunas de ellas han demostrado ser gente para olvidar, pero la mayoría han sido maravillosas y muy agradecidas, y unas poquitas se han convertido en AMIGAS de verdad. Así que no puedo decir que me haya ido tan mal, aunque nadie se puede escapar de cometer errores. Me resulta muy gracioso cuando la gente me dice cosas como “Álex, me hace falta alguna de tus chicas…”, ”Álex, por qué no te vienes con tus chicas?”,”Álex, tienes a las tías mas guapas que he visto…” . Me hace sentir como si fuse un chulo!!! Ja ja ja!!

SECRETOS: Creo que los únicos secretos que hay son trabajar duro, estudiar, y hacer lo que te gusta creyendo en ello, y naturalmente, tomarte tu tiempo en escoger correctamente a la gente a la que le vas a hacer fotos. Soy muy cuidadoso y selectivo con las personas con las que trabajo … y eso ha ido incluso a peor con el tiempo. Me recorrí toda Espana durante los 3 primeros años buscando el tipo de chicas que necesitaba, y pronto conseguí hacerme “conocido”, prensa, revistas, exposiciones, DEADLYWOOD, concursos, tv… De estar haciéndole fotos a mi única modelo y amiga Merce a hacérselas a la más grande (y mi favorita) estrella televisiva ‘El Gran Wyoming’. Flipante!

Podría sonar arrogante, pero no ha sido difícil. La gente suele decir que tengo un estilo muy personal y particular, fácilmente reconocible (a veces no me hace ni falta firmar mis fotos), así que imagino que no he hecho más que llenar un vacío que había en el panorama fotográfico espanol. Aunque lo cierto es que siempre he preferido permanecer más como un fotógrafo “underground” reservado para aquellos que les gusta de verdad y aprecian mi estilo. Esa es pricipalmente la razón por la que he escapado / borrado / abandonado mis perfiles de la mayor parte de páginas en las que estaba como Fotoplatino (por favooooor!), ModelMayhem, Suicide Girls, TattooTrash, etc… y parado de colaborar con publicaciones como (Bedeseme, Bizarre, etc… ). Vamos a ser asocial. De hecho no he terminado ni mi web, ni subido ni una sola foto en los últimos 3 años.

FUTURO: He estado tentado a parar varias veces últimamente, así que ya veremos lo que sucede. Sin embargo, hay una cosa segurísima, mi intención es reducir drásticamente el número de sesiones. Siempre ha sido así, pero ahora todavía más. Ya tengo, mi pequeño grupo de gente a la que hacer fotos y seguiré compartiendo mi fotografía y pasándolo bien con ellos. Sabéis perfectamente quienes sois así que no tenéis nada que temer. Nunca os vais a librar de mí …

Y es el momento de concentrar todo mi tiempo y atención en mi nueva súper modelo, AkemiLoveDoll. Escucharéis hablar de ella muy pronto, si no lo habéis hecho ya…

AGRADECIMIENTOS ESPECIALES: Naturalmente, me gustaría agradecer a TODOS los que han contribuido a mi fotografía: modelos, maquilladoras, familia, amigos, gente a la que le gustan mis fotos, gente a la que no… hay lugar para TODOS.

Pero NO puedo terminar el post de hoy sin agradecer a los GRANDES AMIGÓGRAFOS que me han ayudado / enseñado durante estos años: Rocío Brage (mi profe que está como una cabra!!!), Ovidio Aldegunde (el mejor fotógrafo de Espana y encargado de desarrollar mis aptitudes para el retrato), Edu Panchito (el fotógrafo más humilde y médico para mi equipo después de mis desastres fotográficos), Nolo & Ana Darkmemories (me tenéis sin palabras…), Marius Van Der Pol & Azwera (ayudando y apoyándome desde mis comienzos en Holanda – y responsables de mi firma!), Andonis Master Rex (mi profe/amigo griego y el PRIMERO en ayudarme y creer en mí), Bob Ropemarks & Dutch Dame (los más encantadores y mejores companeros de fiestas), Irresistible Iris & Giel (totalmente sin palabras… amor infinito!), Rodrigo Uquillas (gracias por el montón de sesiones juntos, las películas y la comida mejicana en el Flash In Studio!), John Tsilidis (por la inspiración y espejo donde mirarme – te odio, lo sabes) y Steve Diet Goedde (por la inspiración y ser tan majo conmigo). Y finalmente, pero sin ser menos AkemiLoveDoll (prepárate para LIARLA!).

Y para terminar, de regalo de cumpleaños, una AUTÉNTICA rareza… mi primera foto “seria” (con mi hermana y la hija de mi vecina). La hice especialmente para un concurso de fotografía y lo gané!!!

Buen comienzo… 🙂

 

ONNA SAKURA

Some women are blessed with the gift of elegance. And that’s exactly Onna Sakura’s case.

Of the many ones I’ve shot, she’s one of the easiest, if not the easiest; not only she can pose, but also every shot stands out because of its class, beauty and elegance. And it happens over and over.

Our shoots are always highly improvised, and very very fast. First time we shot it was for only 10 minutes, and it was for not more than 30 this time, but it never makes any difference because she can always surprise you.

We worked after Dominatrix´s catwalk rehearsals… the location didn’t look very special at a first glance, but I think we managed to do something, and something I liked a lot as soon as I checked the results.

Dressed in latex, standing gorgeous at Dominatrix’s venue’s bar, we didn’t need anything else… Just a few shots and we got many nice things like the pics I’m showing you today. Onna can’t stop surprising me with the way she shines, she has a very classical “Hollywood Stylish” movie star beauty, which in my opinion is super perfect for black & white pictures. Of course I prepared those black & white versions and I am extra proud of them because they are EXACTLY what I had in mind, but the colours in the original ones were quite nice, so I thought it would have been a shame not to take advantage of them.

Regarding the edition, you can see what I did because I am also showing you the original unedited versions… I just played a little bit with the curves to make the original colours (that I already liked a lot ) a little bit more interesting. And I spent a loooooooooot of time fixing scratches, stains and little imperceptible (most of the times) thingies that I didn’t like. But Regarding Onna… you can try to find the differences and to jugde how “photoshopped” she is.
That’s all for today, but I’m not leaving without thanking my super cute and effective German friend. Thanks a lot Onna, see you very soon… Blitzkrieg shoot again!!! 🙂

Algunas mujeres están bendecidas con el don de la elegancia. Y ese es precisamente el caso de Onna Sakura.

De las muchas a las que les he hecho fotos, es una de las más fáciles, sino la más fácil de fotografiar; no solo sabe posar, sino que cada   toma destaca por su clase, belleza y elegancia. Y sucede una y otra vez.

Nuestras sesiones son siempre altamente improvisadas, y muy pero que muy rápidas. La primera vez que hicimos fotos fue solo durante 10 minutos, y ésta durante no más de 30, pero eso nunca importa porque siempre sabe como sorprenderte.

Trabajamos después de los ensayos de la pasarela de Dominatrix… la localización no era muy especial así de primeras, pero salimos del paso haciendo algo que al comprobar los resultados me encantó.

Enfundada en látex, apoyada imponentemente en la barra del recinto de Dominatrix, no nos hizo falta nada más… Unos cuantos disparos y conseguimos cosas chulas como las que os muestro hoy. Onna no deja de sorprenderme con la forma en la que brilla, tiene un estilo muy de estrella clásica de Hollywood, que en mi opinión se antoja perfecto para blanco y negro. Naturalmente, preparé esas versiones en blanco y negro de las que estoy especialmente orgulloso porque son EXACTAMENTE lo que tenía en mente, pero los colores de las originales eran tan bonitos, que pensé que hubiese sido una pena no aprovecharlos.

Con respecto al procesado, podéis ver lo que hice porque también os muestro los originales sin editar… solamente jugué un poco con las curvas para hacer un poco más interesantes los colores originales (que ya de partida me gustaban mucho). Y me tiré un montonazo de tiempo arreglando arañazos, manchas y otras cosas imperceptibles (la mayor parte de las veces) que no me gustaban. Pero en lo referente a Onna… podéis tratar de buscar las diferencias y juzgar cuan “photoshoppeada” está.

Esto es todo por hoy, pero no me voy a marchar sin agradecerle todo a mi súper efectiva y encantadora amiga alemana. Muchas gracias Onna, nos vemos pronto… Blitzkrieg shoot otra vez!!!

I’ve been working like crazy in many different things lately and there is too much stuff to show you. It is not easy to decide what to show, because I am extremely happy with all the pictures I edited lately. I’ve been working on pictures of gorgeous ladies like Gwenn, Meesteres Madieanne, Irresistible Iris, PussyGalore, Ruby De La Porté… and names like Onna Sakura ,Sugarfairy, Mari Katze (don’t kill me dear!), are about to be shown soon, just like my nice bunch of Dominatrix’s pictures.

But there is someone I really feel the urge of showing her pics… my super sweet and beautiful Didi, more known internationally like Dutch Dame. We have worked together quite a lot lately and it is ironic I haven’t shown you anything yet.

We shot together for Westward Bound and www.dutchdame.com, with KimOnArt for www.ropemarks.com, also with PussyGalore for Burning Heart Latex, then for www.dutchdame.com again wearing some Inner Sanctum designs… So there are too many beautiful pics to come soon. Some of the pics are already available in those sites, but I will show you something absolutely brand new today before it is officially published… Didi for Burning Heart Latex.

If there is something I like about Didi is how extremely is to shoot her… it makes no difference how, when… she always gives you an awesome photography in return. And her pictures are already perfect without any type of edition, that’s something I really love and which saves me a lot of time. I can edit 20 of Didi’s pics in the same time than 1 of any other model.

Back to the pic I am showing you, it was taken in a very nice Amsterdam penthouse the morning after of a big hell of a party while Inge Eichhorn, our wonderful make up artist for the day, was doing PussyGalore’s make up. We shot for 10 minutes and too many nice good results came to scene. You’ll be able to see more pictures of that photo shoot soon in www.dutchdame.com and probably on Burning Heart Latex’s site very soon.

All the edition of this pics is summarized in increasing Marilyn’s saturation from turning the background from a semi boring grey to a more interesting blue. Fixing a couple of things in the latex, and pic ready in no more than 10 minutes.

Estos días he estado trabajando como un negro en un montón de cosas diferentes así que hay mucho que mostraros. No es fácil decidir que enseñar porque estoy muy contento con todas las fotografías que he editado recientemente. He estrado metido en cosas de chicas alucinantes como Gwenn, Meesteres Madieanne, Irresistible Iris, PussyGalore, Ruby De La Porté… y nombres como Onna Sakura ,Sugarfairy, Mari Katze (no me mates cielo!) están al caer, al igual que mis fotos de Dominatrix.

 Pero si de alguien me apetece mostrar cosas es de mi querida y preciosa Didi, más conocida internacionalmente como Dutch Dame. Hemos trabajado bastante últimamente y es bastante irónico que todavía no os haya mostrado nada.

Hicimos fotos para Westward Bound y www.dutchdame.com, con KimOnArt para www.ropemarks.com, también con PussyGalore para Burning Heart Latex, después para www.dutchdame.com con diseños de Inner Sanctum. Así que hay cosas muy buenas por ver muy pronto. Algunas de esas fotos ya están disponibles en esas páginas, pero os voy a mostrar algo totalmente nuevo antes de que sea publicado oficialmente… Didi para Burning Heart Latex.

Si hay algo que me encanta de Didi es lo extremadamente fácil que es hacerle fotos … no importa como, cuando… siempre te regala una fotografía fantástica. Y las fotos ya son perfectas sin ningún tipo de edición, algo que me encanta y que me ahorra mucho tiempo. Puedo editar 20 fotos de Didi en el mismo tiempo que edito una de cualquier otra modelo.

Volviendo a la foto, fue tomada en un ático muy chulo de Amsterdam la mañana siguiente a una fiesta loca mientras Inge Eichhorn, nuestra fantástica maquilladora ese día, se ocupaba del maquillaje de PussyGalore. Trabajamos 10 minutos y sacamos un montón de cosas en limpio. Ya veréis más fotos de esa sesión muy pronto en www.dutchdame.com y probablemente en la página de Burning Heart Latex.

Toda la edición de esta foto pasó por subir la saturación del fondo semi gris y aburrido de Marilyn a un azul más interesante. Arreglar un par de cosillas en el látex, y foto terminada en no más de 10 minutos.

Y para acabar, momento de dar las gracias a todas las personas implicadas en esta imagen, especialmente a la encantadora Mirja de Burning Heart Latex  por habernos suministrado los conjuntos y a Inge por su fantástica aportación en el maquillaje.

Time to clean out the closet and and to show some new “old” stuff… The pics I am posting you today were taken in October last year during a highly improvised trip the sweet Ruby  and I made to an amazing location in Belgium.

One of the most frequent questions I get is  ‘where do you find your locations?’. I will dedicate a particular post to that matter one of these days, but a quick answer is reading, investigating, driving without any particular direction until I spot something interesting… Though probably Internet is the best weapon.

If I were one of those urbex guys who always PROTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECT and TRY (they can´t with me) to HIIIIIIIIIIDE this type of places I would NEEEEEEVER tell you where they are. But I am a BITCH, and I really like to IRRITATE (should I say FUCK?) those people, so I like to tell where all those fantastic locations are.

So, if my dearest urbex people agree, I don’t think there is any problem to say we visited Salve Mater, a huge psychiatric centre for women opened by the Queen Elizabeth of Belgium in 1926, and sadly abandoned in 1997. I must say it is one of the most beautiful and amazing places I’ve ever visited, formed by 8 big buildings which still keep many many interesting things, memories, and above all grief and pain of those days. Just google it and you´ll find very interesting info about it. And also its location.

I had already been to that place to take pics, so when I talked to Ruby about it, it took us only 5 minutes to organize a roadtrip there, mostly to visit it, but also to take some pics if possible.

It’s very hard to explain all the magnificence of the place and all the feelings that chill your spine once there… especially when you realize that was not precisely a holiday hotel. To be honest, every second must be enjoyed, because there is too much too see and feel… But Ruby and I couldn’t miss the chance of shooting.

We got there early in the morning… skipped all the safety measures to enter the place (I must say it is not very legal to break in, and if you do it the chances you are caught by the police of people living in the surrounded areas are quite high). So if you ever decide to visit the place, please be extremely careful: he chances of being caught are very high if you don´t know how to get inside the place, that´s not usually easy.

We spent around 5 hours wandering into the different buildings and once we had spotted all the interesting locations, we decided to shoot in three of the many many spots the place gives you. We chose a corridor with a veeeeeeeery spooky chair where I immobilized Ruby (only for some pics), some very nice stairways and probably the creepiest place ever, a bathroom with a bath completely filled with blood and needles (which probably were not very healthy). 2 Hours shooting before it got dark…

Ruby’s look was AWESOME, so the location and the time we spent there exploring, shooting, scaring innocent children who were investigating place (WE DID!!!!) and meeting Carlos Daniel Miranda, a  very nice photographer who was a little bit scared (but fascinated) when he suddenly found spookie Ruby like an apparition.

The edition of the pics has been quite simple. I´ve only adjusted the colours with Lightroom, and for the ones in the chair I went back to my old times and used textures. I think it fits… For the others in the stairs, I had always seen those as very very very white high key images, but in the very last minute I decided to try a cross processing and the results were quite nice.

And for all of you wondering how photoshopped (or how real) my images are, I will show you their original versions, straight out of the camera… so you can judge.  Enjoy them…

Momento de ir vaciando el armario y de enseñaros algún nuevo “viejo” material… Las fotos que publico hoy se tomaron en Octubre del año pasado, durante un viaje por carretera altamente improvisado que la dulce Ruby y yo hicimos a una localización impresionante de Bélgica.

Una de las preguntas más frecuentes que me hace la gente es “dónde encuentras esas localizaciones?”. Le dedicaré a eso una entrada uno de estos días, pero una respuesta rápida es leyendo, investigando, conduciendo sin una ruta preestablecida hasta que aparece algo interesante… Aunque probablemente Internet sea la mejor arma.

Si fuese uno de esos tíos urbex que siempre PROTEEEEEEEEEEEGEN e INTENTAN (no les sale bien conmigo) ESCONDER este tipo de lugares, NUUUUUUUNCA os diría donde son. Pero como soy un MALÉFICO, y me gusta IRRITAR (o debería decir JODER?) a esa gente, me gusta desvelar donde están todas esas localizaciones tan fantásticas.

Por lo tanto, si mis queridos urbex están de acuerdo, no creo que haya problema alguno en contar que visitamos Salve Mater, una gigantesca institución psiquiátrica para mujeres abierta por la Reina Elizabeth de Bélgica en 1926  y tristemente abandonada en 1997. Debo decir que es uno de los lugares más hermosos e impactantes en los que he estado, formado por 8 edificios los cuales todavía guardan muchas cosas interesantes, recuerdos y sobre todo angustia y dolor de aquellos días. Simplemete googlearlo y encontraréis información muy interesante. Y también su localización.

Ya había ido a ese sitio a hacer fotos, así que cuando le hablé de él a Ruby no nos llevó ni 5 minutos organizar una excursión hasta allí, principalmente para visitarlo, pero también para hacer algunas fotos si era posible.

Es muy difícil explicar toda la magnificencia de ese lugar y todos los sentimientos que te producen escalofríos una vez allí… especialmente cuando te das cuenta de que aquello no fue un complejo de vacaciones. Para ser honesto, hay que disfrutar cada uno de los segundos allí dentro, porque hay mucho que ver y sentir… Pero Ruby y yo no pudimos evitar hacer fotos.

Llegamos tempranito por la mañana… sorteamos todas las medidas de seguridad para entrar allí (he de decir que no es muy legal entrar, y si lo haces las posibilidades de que te coja la policía o la gente que vive en los alrededores son bastante elevadas). Así que si alguna vez decidís visitar el lugar, por favor sed extremadamente cuidadosos: las posibilidades de que os pillen son muy altas si no sabéis por donde acceder, que no es precisamente fácil.

Nos tiramos unas 5 horas deambulando por los distintos edificios y una vez localizados los sitios más interesantes, decidimos hacer las fotos en tres de los muchísimos lugares que este sitio de da. Escogimos un pasillo con una silla muuuuuuuuy perturbadora en la cual inmovilicé a Ruby (solo para unas cuantas fotos), unas escaleras muy chulas y probablemente el sitio más grimoso de todos, un baño con una bañera llena de sangre y agujas (que probablemente no eran muy sanas). 2 Horas haciendo fotos antes de que se hiciese de noche…

Ruby estaba DE MUERTE, al igual que la localización y que el tiempo que pasamos allí explorando, haciendo fotos, asustando a niños inocentes que estaban investigando el lugar (LO HICIMOS!) y conociendo a Carlos Daniel Miranda, un fotógrafo muy majo que se asustó (y fascinó) un poco al encontrase de repente a Ruby como una aparición.

La edición de las fotos fue muy sencilla. Solo les ajusté bien el color en el Lightroom, y para las de las silla volví a mis viejos tiempos y utilicé unas texturas. Creo que le sientan bien… Para las otras en las escaleras, siempre las había tenido en mente como imágenes súper blancas, claves altas, pero en el último segundo decidí probar con un proceso cruzado y los resultados fueron muy buenos.

Y para todos esos que os preguntáis cuanto de photoshop (o de verdad) hay en mis fotos, os voy a enseñar los originales salidos de la cámara… así podréis juzgar.

Last weekend was absolutely crazy for many reasons I am not going to explain… I drove all the way to Epe very early on Saturday’s morning for shooting some pics for Veronique’s (Fe)male Fashion website. Its owner Sasha wished to give his website a new look, so I headed there to work with my super partner in crime: Gwenn. I’ve known this amazing lady for ages and even though we had been involved in a crappy project, this was the first time we were finally working together.

With Sasha’s cool latex outfits, with very nice weather and location and Mirjam Van Wiggen’s talent for the makeup we did a very interesting job.

It was a very long day, we shot for hours until the point my adored Gwenn was about to die frozen (I’m soooo proud of you little one!!!) , but I must admit it’s been worth. And as usual in me, funny things happened… this time I fell against a column while my acrobatic shooting, and the result is my ribs are hurting really bad yet…

And I’m also veeeeeeeeery happy to announce a super alternative model and I are starting a project that’s going to rock hard… really hard. Not to forget I’m really looking forward to attending to the Fetish Evolution Weekend where I will finally have the chance of working with my 3 fav German models / friends ever… The dream is about to come true.

Next weeks will be damn busy… it’s only rock & roll but I like it!.

El fin de semana fue totalmente loco por razones que no me voy a parar a explicar… El sábado por la mañana muy temprano conduje hasta Epe para hacer unas fotos para la web de Veronique’s (Fe)male Fashion. Su dueño Sasha quería dar un nuevo look a su web, así que me dirigí hasta allí para trabajar con mi súper compinche: Gwenn. Nos conocemos desde hace bastante y aunque los dos habíamos formado parte de un projecto perruno, esta fue la primera vez que por fin trabajamos juntos.

Con los modelitos de latex de Sasha, con un muy buen día y localización y con el arte de Mirjam Van Wiggen para el maquillaje, hicimos un trabajo muy interesante.

Fue un día muy largo, hicimos fotos durante horas hasta el punto en el que mi adorada Gwenn estuvo a punto de morir congelada (estoy súper orgulloso de ti enana!!!) , pero he de admitir que mereció la pena. Y como es normal en mí, sucedieron cosas graciosas…  esta vez me caí contra una columna durante mis acrobacias fotográficas,y el resultado es que aun me duelen las costillas un huevo…

Y también estoy súper contento de anunciar que una súper modelo alternativa y yo vamos a empezar un projecto que va a dar mucho que hablar… muchísimo. Sin olvidar lo que me tarda el Fetish Evolution Weekend donde por fin podré trabajar con mis 3 modelos alemanas favoritas … El sueño a punto de hacerse realidad.

Las próximas semanas serán bastante ocupadas… … it’s only rock & roll but I like it!.

Last weekend I attended to one of the biggest events in the Fetish scene in this country: DOMINATRIX. Once more, this March edition was absolutely awesome in all senses, from the organization to the party, and all points in between. ‘Too hot to handle’ I could say.

DOMINATRIX kicked off on Friday evening with the photographers and models meet & greet at Hotel Akersloot. Nice start meeting old friends again and seeing (pretty) new faces… Too many faces and too many names to mention, though I could never forget  Bob Ropemarks, Dutch Dame, Kristina Deetox, Kwipi Lovebite, Onna Sakura, Nina de Linain, Erik, Meesteres Madieanne, PussyGalore, Lexy, etc…  and of cooooooooooooourse my lovely ‘wife’ for the party ‘Little’ Haas. To all of them, and all the rest, BIG THANKS.

Saturday was a very long day… latex, models, rehearsals, photoshoots, backstage, catwalk and of course: PAAAAAAAAARTY!!! You’ll see very soon some results of my weekend at DOMINATRIX… the models I shot were FANTASTIC so the pics can’t be any other way. Thanks a lot sweet ladies!

And before I finish, I would really like to congratulate big boss Reinier More and all the people involved in DOMINATRIX for the absolute success…

El fin de semana participé en uno de los eventos más importantes de la escena Fetish de este país:  DOMINATRIX. De nuevo, esta edición de Marzo fue absolutamente fantástica en todos Loa aspectos, desde la organización hasta la fiesta y todos los puntos intermedios. “Too hot to handle”  se podría decir.

DOMINATRIX comenzó la noche del Viernes con el meet & greet de los fotógrafos y las modelos en el Hotel Akersloot. Una buena forma de empezar encontrándose de nuevo con viejos amigos y viendo caras nuevas (y bonitas) … Demasiadas caras y demasiados nombres para mencionar, aunque nunca me podría olvidar de Bob Ropemarks, Dutch Dame, Kristina Deetox, Kwipi Lovebite, Onna Sakura, Nina de Linain, Erik, Meesteres Madieanne, PussyGalore, Lexy, etc… y por supueeeeeeeeeeeesto a mi querida «esposa» para la fiesta, la «Pequeña» Haas. A todos ellos y al resto, MUCHAS GRACIAS.

El Sábado fue un día muy largo … látex, modelos, ensayos, sesiones, backstage, pasarela y por supuesto: FIEEEEEEEEEESTA!!!  Pronto podréis ver los resultados de mi fin de semana en DOMINATRIX… las modelos a las que les hice fotos estuvieron FANTÁSTICAS, así que las fotos no podrían ser de otra forma. Muchas gracias cielos!.

Y antes de terminar, me gustaría dar la enhorabuena al gran jefe Reinier More y al resto del personal involucrado en hacer de DOMINATRIX un auténtico éxito.

While I am working in completely different stuff, I really had the urge of editing the pic I’m showing you today. Because I have a STRONG CRUSH on it.

It belongs to a crazy and bizarre photo shoot with Meesteres Madieanne at her studio in Amsterdam…  We had loooooooots of fun, but we also did a very good job. I felt in love at once with this one from the very first moment I saw it in my camera…  especially because Madieanne’s expression was absolutely breathtaking… ICONIC I would even dare to say. Also, we count on a very special guest star, my dearest Giel In Command who did an excellent (though not very voluntary) job in the shoot. I am very proud of him, because he looks AWESOME in every pic we took.

I forwarded the pic to Madieanne last evening, she uploaded it to facebook, and the reactions of people came immediately. Most of them found the pic as gorgeous as funny…

What I really love about this pic is that it can be read in many different ways. Of course it can be a funny scene, but also really serious, even kinda scary… I really love its ICONIC touch, not to say that I had never portrayed such a strong expression before. Religious, iconic, funny, bizarre, scary, crazy, creepy, fetish… but always from a very artistic approach.

The edition was very easy… I had only to remove some dust & stains from Madieanne’s outfit, and already from the very first time I saw the scene I knew it had to be a black & white picture, probably because of the religious and mysterious touch I had in mind. So one of my typical and intense black & white conversion and voila!

Time to say goodbye for today but NOT without thanking infinitely to Meesteres Madieanne for her UNIQUE interpretation/expression and to Giel In Command because of his PERFECT role in the picture providing it with a very different meaning than if he wasn’t in the scene.

And of course, to all of you who enjoy it in your own particular way.

Mientras trabajo en material completamente distinto, tuve la necesidad de editar la fotografía que os muestro hoy. Porque estoy SUPER ENAMORADO de ella.

Pertenece a una sesión loca y bizarra con Meesteres Madieanne en su estudio de Amsterdam…  Lo pasamos de muerte, pero también hicimos un muy buen trabajo. Me enamoré de ella desde el momento que la vi en la pantalla de mi cámara… especialmente porque la expresión de Madieanne te deja sin aliento… hasta me atrevería a decir que ICÓNICA. Además, contamos con una estrella invitada muy especial, mi querido Giel In Command que hizo un trabajo excelente (aunque no muy voluntario). Estoy muy orgulloso de él porque sale BRUTAL en cada una de las fotos que hicimos.

Le envié la foto a Madieanne la noche pasada, la subió a facebook y las reacciones de la gente no se hicieron esperar. La mayor parte la encontraron tan fantástica como divertida …

Lo que a mí me gusta de ella es que puede ser leída de muchas formas distintas. Claro que puede ser una escena divertida, pero también seria, hasta de miedo… Me encanta su toque ICÓNICO, y no hace falta ni decir que nunca antes había retratado una expresión tan fuerte. Religiosa, icónica, divertida, bizarra, de miedo, loca, grimosa, fetish… pero siempre desde un punto de vista muy artístico.

El proceso de edición fue muy sencillo… solo tuve que cargarme polvo y algunas manchas del atuendo de Madieanne, y ya desde el primer momento que vi la escena, supe que tenía que ser en blanco y negro, probablemente por lo religiosa  y misteriosa que la tenía en mente. Así que una de mis típicas e intensas conversiones a blanco y negro y voila!

Momento de despedirme, pero  NO sin antes agradecer infinitamente a Meesteres Madieanne por su interpretación / expresión ÚNICA y a Giel In Command por el papel tan PERFECTO que desempeña en la foto, aportándole  un significado muy distinto al que tendría si no estuviese en la escena.

Y por supuesto, a todos los que la disfrutáis de vuestra manera particular.
